Premier Inn Gosport

The staff at this premier inn were really friendly and greeted us warmly every morning for breakfast! The place itself was very standard for a premier inn, the room was clean yet basic but had everything we needed for our stay. We chose this hotel as the location was near to family members that we were visiting, but it wasn’t really near anything else of note apart from some shops across the road and a pub next door so may not be a good choice if you were visiting for a holiday. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

All the staff, especially Charlene and Lee at Breakfast were outstanding ! I enjoyed the Classic English Breakfast which was freshly cooked, piping hot and, after a second helping, really set me up for the day. I look forward to my next visit.

On arrival the hotel screamed “grubby” We were seen and booked in quite promptly and asked for an iron. Upon entering our room (112) it appeared clean, however on a much needed soak after a long journey, the bath was filthy, the hair dryer didn’t work and no plug sockets on one side of the bed. There was also only 1 bath towel and a hand towel so OH had to go back downstairs to request one. When you very limited time, last thing you need is to be walking backwards and forwards from your room to the reception to declare issues with your room. The other issue was not being able to book in until 3pm especially when you have book out the next day at 12 noon. Not even 24 hours.

Stayed here visiting family, easy find great location. Plenty of shops near by like lidls, home bargains, m&s Starbucks and Costa, newly refurbished pub next door although nothing to do with Premier inn but still a good place to go. Team were fantastic and the room was spacious

My husband stays here a lot for his work, sometime I join him. This time I joined him, the staff are so lovely. The breakfast is always nice. Only problem was that it was a Pretty noisy stay, can’t be helped as it’s half term and lots of families staying.Have met Keeley the receptionist a couple previous times and she’s always so smiley and will help no matter the problem, she’s just a pleasure to talk to and a perfect person for a receptionist. Lee and Sharmaine (I think) are superb. Great atmosphere in the mornings, exactly what you need first thing in the morning ☺️

Great standard as usual. Everything was good quality. The only downside, which was important was the failure to tell us the pub next door was closed. We had travelled 250 miles to get to this hotel. Previous visit the pub was excellent so disappointed it was closed for refurbishment.
