The hotel is amazing! It directly connects with the Gotemba premium outlet mall, the footbridge links with the parking building 4 of the outlet. Super convenient. Dinner and breakfast are buffet type, no surprise. Still highly recommend to those who will spend a day in Fuji area and outlet

I experienced both sunny and rainy days ☔️ at this hotel, and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the hot spring relaxation area is excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and getting a taxi to Gotemba Station after check-out was super convenient. The location is just superb!

The hotel’s location right next to the outlet was extremely convenient and made shopping very easy. The property was kept very clean. The Mount Fuji view from the lobby is outstanding and one of the best we have seen. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. The room layout was well thought out and comfortable, even though the space itself is not large. Two points could be improved. Checkout at 10:00 a.m. feels early when check-in is only at 3:00 p.m., which shortens the stay more than expected. The walkway to the outlet is also not fully covered, so we still got wet when it rained. Overall, it is a practical and pleasant choice if you want to be close to the outlets and enjoy a strong Fuji view. A slightly later checkout and better weather protection on the path would make the stay even better

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay with an Incredible Mount Fuji View I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Clad Gotemba and really enjoyed the overall experience. The hotel was very well equipped, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was definitely the dinner and breakfast buffet. There was a great variety of food to choose from, and it was nice to have so many different options available for both meals. But the absolute highlight has to be the open-air onsen with the Mount Fuji view — it is simply insane! 🗻♨️ Soaking in the hot spring while looking out at Mount Fuji was such an amazing and memorable experience. A couple of small suggestions that could make the stay even better: * Pillows: The pillows were a little too soft for my preference. It would be great if guests could choose from different pillow types or have a firmer option available. * Onsen hours: It would be fantastic if the onsen could stay open later, especially for hotel guests. Since there isn’t a huge amount to do around Gotemba at night, having the opportunity to enjoy a late-night soak would be a wonderful perk. Perhaps the later hours could even be reserved exclusively for hotel guests after the public bathing hours end. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Clad Gotemba, especially for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with an amazing Mount Fuji view and a fantastic onsen experience. I would happily stay here again!

Overall it’s a good hotel with nice indoor and outdoor hot spring for us to enjoy but during my stay the mt fuji was hiding in the clouds…paid more for the mt fuji view was not worth it. Breakfast is good. Staying here is just a short walk to gotemba premium outlet. This sayakawa steak house is great but gotta book it at 9am online in line app and it’s fully booked for the whole day in just 30mins so gotta be fast and early lol.

This hotel offers an excellent vantage point for viewing Mount Fuji; it faces the mountain directly, allowing you to enjoy the views right from your bed. Its location close to the outlet mall makes shopping very convenient. There's also a shuttle bus service to Tokyo, which is a great plus for transportation.

It was the rainy season, so we couldn't see Mount Fuji, but the hotel is very new, and the room is quite spacious for Japan, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It's located behind the outlet mall; if you're coming from Tokyo by bus, you'll need to walk through the outlet and take an elevator up. It's super convenient if you're driving as it connects directly to the parking lot. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, and the private onsen needs to be booked and paid for separately.

The room is very comfortable with a large window, Green tea & coffee are free at the lobby, staffs are friendly. It would be better if there is shuttle going to west terminal of the outlet.

The hotel adopts strict check-in and check-out policies. We stayed for an extra hour for late check-out and we paid 2000 Yen. The hotel restaurant opens at 7am and breakfast session ends at 9:30am and their check-out time is at 10am. There seems to be too little time for the guests to pack up their bags after breakfast. I was a bit disappointed by those two policies. It’s a bit dusty along the rim of door. Also, I was disappointed by not being able to see the view of Mount Fuji from the window of our room (which is a bit small in general) but I paid US$230 for the night.

I happened to experience a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in the Fuji Five Lakes area. The whole room shook violently, and all the bottles and jars on the table fell to the floor. Surprisingly, the hotel was completely fine after the quake. The earthquake resistance is truly impressive! 👍 If it hadn't been for the earthquake, I'd say this hotel is incredibly convenient. It's easy to get to Gotemba for shopping, and the bus service to and from Tokyo is also very accessible. My only regret is that I didn't get to see Mount Fuji 🗻

This is my second stay here. Last December, I could see Mount Fuji every day, but this time it rained, so no luck. The room is spacious and bright, with a well-thought-out layout. The hot springs downstairs are a great amenity. Plus, having an outlet mall right downstairs is incredibly convenient!
