We stayed in Pigalle Hotel Gothenburg for 2 nights The location of the hotel is very central and super close to the central station of Gothenburg ( about3 minutes walk), it is also close to tons of restaurants, cafes and a big shopping mall where you will find everything The reception when we first entered the Hotel did not meet our expectations, it was not that warm welcome and for a moment felt almost like self service, I thought it was bizarre for a 5 stars hotel to have average reception for their guests. Decoration of the hallway, the bar at ground floor, the entrance and even the stairs was surprisingly very vintage, romantic and outstanding design, overall it was charming and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Even the room design, the wall paper and the bathroom were all of the same theme (vintage & romantic and it quite warm feeling) The bed was super comfy, we slept very well like bears so if you wanna have a great sleep they got the beds and pillows for it. Also the breakfast every morning was nothing short of delicious and the taste of everything was great and you can feel that they only use fresh & high quality ingredients, the methods of the cooking and preparations were very 5 stars indeed, and the service of the staff as well, they were very friendly and professional. Nevertheless the room we stayed at did not match the pictures on the hotel web page, it was not very spacious neither was the bathroom, and next to the bed both nightstands had stains on them, we were also not pleased with the cleanliness of the room nor the bathroom as there were so much chalky limescale deposits all over the bathroom floor. The closet in our room was sort of broken and need reparation as it was quite warn out, also it had very small space to hang our clothes and even less space for stuff because it had only 2 small shelves. No free coffee, nor tea and not even water in the room, quite disappointing for a 5 stars hotel, I honestly was upset as there were no trash cans in the room, there were just one in the bathroom and you need to walk there every time you had trash to throw. Also although we were couple, we only got 1 welcome package and even that was very basic. In Summary: The Hotel have a charming, vintage aesthetic and an unbeatable central location. However, the room quality fell short of expectations for a 5-star establishment, with cleanliness issues and a lack of amenities. The delicious breakfast and exceptional service of the staff helped redeem the experience.

I stayed one night and love this hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer. The whole building is a work of art with amazing decoration, and lots of very interesting places to sit and work or have a coffee. Was upgraded to a room with a round bed, which was interesting, but excellent and very comfortable. With a very big bathroom.the bar is awesome and the breakfast was great. I can’t wait to return and spend more time here. It was a perfect Oasis, and a very wintry and cold day in Gothenburg.

It was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. I took the children to Gothenburg and chose this Hotell Liseberg. It turns out that this is a good choice. The hotel is very close to the two favorite places of Liseberg Amusement Park and Universum, about 5-7 minutes walk. . The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, and I was impressed by Jenny and Mia, making us feel at home. There is a parking lot outside the hotel. It is very convenient to drive. It is also about 15 minutes walk from Central Station, and the traffic is convenient. The breakfast at the hotel is very fresh, although the variety is not particularly good, but the quality is very good. The hotel also has a microwave and ice machine for the convenience of the guests, very intimate. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the hotel's children's playroom, children can stay indoors and have a good time in the rain. Next time we come to Gothenburg, we will also choose to stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and had an iron, kettle and fridge. The “double” bed upstairs was two single beds shoved together. Not worth paying for a third person as it was a sofa bed- which pulled out extremely low down so they basically slept on the floor. They also had a very hard section so was not very comfy. It cost us an extra 85 pounds for this- which was not worth it! Overall, it was a good stay as there is a swimming pool (limited opening hours though), they let you leave your bags at reception and the views are greta

I was looking for somewhere affordable just a short walk from Chalmers University and ended up staying in this friendly clean updated traditional hotel. Just minutes away from the main streets, a half hour walk to the sea or Botanic Gardens and with a generous breakfast each morning I could not have asked for more. The staff were welcoming when I arrived early for check in after 20+ hour journey and found me a room. There’s a wonderful old school lift up the centre of the original staircase: be prepared to go alone with your suitcase or squeeze in with one friend because that’s all there is room for!

This was good hotel, located in the center of Gothenborg where you have good access to almost everything. It was a beautiful hotel with a good interior design. It was clean enough. As a not good point, we can say they don't put slipperies in the rooms that is a little annoying. Breakfast was perfect with a very good anf acceptable range of foods and drinks. Parking cost is too much here. It's almost 400 SEK per each day, buy you still have this alternative that park your car in some public parkings, with 10 minutes walking to the hotel and much lower cost.

On a business trip, it was very cold and it was a weekend. The hotel reception was very enthusiastic and helped us to move our luggage, especially the first floor small bar and the cake after 4 o'clock was very good and intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, will come again next time...

I was warm welcomed even though arrived by reception closure due to trains drastic delay. Very cozy room and rather big, antique furniture, kettle in the room. Breakfast variety is amazing. Georgian restaurant offers delicious food from 16.00, almost authentic

If you travel with car, this hotel has excellent location. Very nice sub urban area. To Lisebergs amusement park and very big shopping mall 10 minutes away. Breakfast was excellent and coffee - definitely best during visit in Sweden. Most important while traveling, we all had GOOD sleep in comortable beds. In rooms hotel is having a good selection when travelling with family. Eventhough they don't have restaurant, they had tasty variation for evening meal. Worth the money!
