This is a fabulous resort. The apartments are in beautiful gardens Winthrop a great pool. I worked with a pool for 23 years. This one was always sparkly clean. Our apartment (the mill was spacious and comfortable) . My only complaint would be more cooking utensils and a toaster. Everything was kept really clean and tidy by the super cleaning ladies. I would highly recommend this resort, it would be good for all, very child friendly I thought. The hosts were very friendly and incredibly helpful. We even had some animal friends( tortoises, dogs and cats). There is a taverna but we did not eat in. The food looked great and smelt wonderful. All in all a great place to stay, we are thinking of staying again next year.

Great resort with friendly staff and great facilities. Good location with a 10 min walk to the beach and bars/ restaurants. The only reason this got 4* opposed to 5* would be the cooking facilities within the Mill where we stayed. The cooking facilities were limited with no oven or toaster available to make any meals. Food and a bar within the resort eased that problem. Privacy was not as good as the main path from other rooms/Apartments went right through the Mills seating area and past the entrance door. All in a great resort and would definitely use again if we plan to return.

First impressions at entrance was really good, gorgeous exterior, well lit up. Met on arrival by Nikos. Really friendly and showed us to our apartment. We were able to check in before arrival so this also saved time. We booked a 2 bed apartment overlooking the garden. Apartments were clean and tidy and maintained daily. Lots of wardrobe space, nice big fridge and freezer and large balcony area. Small kitchen, only downside to apt was no lounge area but large balcony balanced this. Pool area was immaculately clean and always had loungers available. We had breakfast lunch and dinner on different occasions in the tavern and the food was always delicious and fresh. Really good variety on the menu to suit all. Also had a great range of drinks. For a family run business, there was always someone available if you had any questions queries, I found them all to be always polite and helpful even during busy times. The complex is about 5 minute walk to gouvia centre where there are lots of restaurants, bars and the beach. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk and brings you directly into Corfu Town and also can bring you to ther towns and beaches along the route. Good Central location. Overall would highly recommend.

Our second year returning to Mathraki resort. Fantastic family run resort, catering to your every need for a perfect holiday. Lovely apartment, cleaned daily. Fabulous pool area and great food served in the family run restaurant. Thanks to Nicos, Dimitri, George and Maria for giving us a wonderful holiday, will definitely be back.

Mathraki is a lovely little resort which provides a real personal touch due to its fairly small size and the fact it's exclusively family run. We stayed with our 5 month old baby as we were over for a wedding and at no point did we feel like a pain or inconvenience to anyone. The pool area is great and has plenty of (very comfy sunbeds for guests. The reviews speak for themselves - highly recommend.

Another amazing, relaxing stay at The Mathraki Resort. Very peaceful place to stay. Great pool & Bar area. Lovely food. Beautiful gardens, so relaxing. Nice clean rooms with air-conditioning. Thanks to George, Maria, Nikos and especially Dimitris for making the best Mai Tai cocktails 🍹A great base to explore the rest of Corfu & only 20 minutes from Corfu town. Thanks so much. Me and my friend stayed here for a week and it was absolutely lovely. The family that runs this resort we're very welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable. We felt very safe in the area as well as two young women. It's in a good location if you want to get a bus to Corfu Old Town or the west side of the island and it's not a far walk into Gouvia Town either. Would recommend anyone stay here xx

We absolutely loved it at the Mathraki Resort. The safe, family-run environment is great for families and the staff were all really friendly. The pool area was great and the new sun loungers extremely comfortable. It is only a short walk into Gouvia, so a very convenient location. And a bus stop at the end of the road for visiting Corfu Town. We had a wonderful holiday here. Highly recommend :)
