Club Marakesh Beach Hotel

This hotel is deffinately NOT baby friendly. For small kids (with prams). They gave us a room in the third floor without an elevator and they didn’t want to change it. Even if there where free rooms. Young people had rooms downstairs (? Why?!). Just one person speaks english at the reception and he’s not there often. They were a bit rude to us. There are no kettles or microwaves in the whole hotel, so you can’t heat the food for kids. There are stairs everywhere. To the beach, to the rooms… evrywhere. Till midnight, there is terrible noise outside (music) so it is hard to fall asleep. Food is average. Rooms are average but some rooms of our friends were broken (ac, shower, toilet). Won’t come back ever again. On the contrary beach is very nice, but in water very rocky so it is better to use water shoes. Pools are clean and stuff on the bars and restaurant is polite :-). It is quite near the airport (48 minutes by taxi) which is also very nice. Well. 2,5 stars from 5.

Such a nice hotel everything is so close the weather was so hot the staff was so friendly I’m definitely going to stay in this hotel again the hotel is so clean the rooms are nice the food was nice I had a good experience the hotel is so close to the town

The hotel terrible I'm.hear just now no English food terrible they treat you like rubbish and they told me it's full I paid for full inclusive its bad hotel had so many arguments I been told of locals terrible hotel not happy it's dirty and smelly floor are wet and slidy I'm making big complaint I'm hear till 5 October not happy shocking 😢 😡 shower terrible cold water holiday from hell

We were put in a unit by the pool originally it had ants crawling through it , a hot fridge , broken toilet seat and filthy , we asked to be moved immediately and then moved to a dirty room , the air conditioning leaked like a water fall all over the dressing table and over the floor , we complained , the bathroom was disgusting nothing had been cleaned for ever , this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel ,didn’t get any towels until the 5th day .the hotel cleaners need to be fired as the sheets were stained and no bins emptied and bathroom untouched . the hallway had holes in the wall and frayed carpets my pictures speak for them selves , breakfast was disgusting, not designed for British tourists , mainly Russian tourists and they were incredibly rude pushing in the queue etc , the all inclusive drinks consisted of Pepsi & beer , 7 up , no spirits and served in small plastic cups which would spill as soon as you picked them up as they were flimsy , the bar was charging after 10pm so how is this all inclusive !!! The security boxes weren’t fixed so had to carry valuables at all times ,love holidays refuse to do anything , it was cheap but if you expect any luxuries or friendly staff then this is not for you . On the plus side the pool was well maintained and nice

As soon as we entered the hotel, there was no welcoming at all from the staff, no help to take the luggages to our rooms, the receptionists couldn’t even speak a single word of English, they had to use google translate to understand what we were saying, to add to this the staff members weren’t even wearing uniform, it was so unprofessional. The room which we were initially assigned was atrocious, shower doors broken, tap broken, fridge with mould, broken air conditioning. To add to this, there is no elevator in the hotel, so people who come with elders/children will have a hard time coming back and forth from rooms. Fortunately we were able to switch rooms after one night to the more habitable rooms on the first floor. The food was terrible, the same dishes everyday, there is no heating system for the food in the dining room too, so once the food is brought out it’s immediately cold. There’s always flies sitting on the food which people eat, and the plates which are set out are sometimes not cleaned properly. Not to mention the housekeeping is terrible, they don’t clean the public toilets downstairs from the reception and there is always a potent smell lingering around in the hotel which is unbearable. They don’t have enough staff/resources to keep the hotel clean. The workers who clean your rooms are also questionable, they too do not wear uniforms and seem like they are unqualified to do the job, it’s shocking. All in all, please avoid and go to a better hotel who actually care for their customers, the only good take away from this hotel was just the location to the beach and the pool facilities.
