Hotel Saudade

We spent our 2023 vacation at the Hotel Saudade again, and it was just as good as our previous stays. The entire team was helpful and very friendly. Mate, in particular, was very competent. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended hotel. We'll be back.

Very beautiful and well-maintained hotel in a fantastic location. Typical pebble beach, accessible only via a quiet road. Clean except for cigarette butts. Sunbeds and parasols are included free of charge. I've rarely experienced such friendly and dedicated staff. Always helpful and interested in their guests. The owners could take a leaf out of their book (just a side note). Well-equipped and very clean rooms with a fantastic view. Very good breakfast and an excellent selection of dishes for dinner (thankfully not a buffet). The starters are a bit small, but the main courses make up for it. The ice cream is highly recommended. Drink prices are generally okay. One negative point... using the refrigerator in the room for personal items was basically forbidden. There's a large sign on the refrigerator. I find this inappropriate in a holiday hotel. Some of the hot dishes at breakfast, like scrambled or fried eggs, were cold. Overall, though, a good selection. Unfortunately, there's far too much waste at breakfast due to individual packaging. This is simply outdated. Apparently, there are significantly more smokers in Croatia than in Germany. A separate area for smokers should be found here at breakfast or dinner

2018, 2019, 2020,2021 und natürlich auch dieses Jahr 2022 wurden wir im Saudade wieder verwöhnt. Für uns das Beste was wir in Kroatien in vielen Jahren erlebt haben. Empfang, Service, Küche, Lage, Sauberkeit einfach unübertrefflich. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Besser geht es nicht. Vom Empfang bis zum Zimmermädchen alles Top. Natürlich auch die Küche und die Bedienung haben überzeugt. Die Lage des Hotels mit dem eigenen Strand hat uns überzeugt. Das sind auch die Gründe, warum wir auch 2023 zum sechsten Mal uns im Saudade verwöhnen lassen wollen.
