We totally enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular. The staff is professionally and really nice. The location is great too.

An excellent stay overall! The only minor drawback was the slow internet, which seems to be a common issue in this city. The room offered a fantastic city view, and the toiletries were Guerlain. So glad I booked this hotel.

Location — On the hill, 10 min walk to the Alhambra Palace. If you fancy a short morning stroll in the same natural environment that surrounds the monumental complex, it should serve the purpose. Rooms on the city side have good views overlooking the Granada landscape, but prices are also much higher. Service — Staff are very well trained and carry with them the old English-style professionalism and dignity, being polite but not condescending or ingratiating. Amenities — Probably once modern during the first half of the 20th century, they are very old and out of date by today’s standard for a 5-star hotel. For example, the toilet is flushed by pulling (instead of pushing) the plug on the lid, something I’ve never seen in real life, but only in movies. Also the toilet had a bit of smell, not sure if it’s due to cleaning or in the pipes. Overall, this hotel should suit visitors who look for classy service and/or an immersive experience of living in close proximity to the cultural complex and overlooking the Granada city as the emirs and kings did in the past.

Beatiful hotel rooms are next to Alhambra Palace Hotel that you can walk to the gate of wine for a few hundred meters Alhambra attractions. Excellent room view of the whole Granada city (You need book city view rooms). Espresso machine and electric kettle in room to make coffee or team. The best breakfast in our entire two week Europe trip!

Great position and great service!

Fantastic view

Absolutely terrible. Aside from its location, it has nothing. This is the first time I've ever seen a 5-star hotel only provide two 330ml bottles of water per day. We arrived after 11 PM and asked the front desk for two more bottles, but they said that's the only limit, and any more would incur a charge. The front desk staff were incredibly rude, acting as if I owed them money. The bedding was filthy and tattered, the towels were yellowed like rags, and the mini-bar was completely empty. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear the neighbors arguing while lying in bed, and in the morning, the sound of their door opening and closing was like it was right next to my ear. How dare the front desk say the soundproofing was good? I can't believe this is a 5-star hotel.

Very close to the Alhambra Palace, this is a great place for families. Although the facilities are older, they are not outdated and are comfortable.

It has its own unique style, is very close to the scenic area, is very quiet, and has a historically rich old-school feel. You can see the city view from the window.

It's not worth the price. The hotel's decor is unique, but the rooms and bathrooms are small, even smaller than some hotels I've stayed in that cost over a thousand. The bedding doesn't justify the price either. The breakfast is bad, offering no advantage compared to hotels costing over a thousand. The service staff lacks awareness; staff members shared the elevator with guests but didn't greet them. They messed up my reservation; I had booked breakfast, but they made a mistake and told me to go to the front desk to inquire. After quickly clarifying the situation, they wouldn't let me go to breakfast immediately. Two staff members stood there talking in Spanish for three minutes, leaving me waiting, before casually apologizing to me, ma'am. There's a room near the entrance with some sofas, usually open. On our second day, a few of us were waiting downstairs and decided to go in. Just as we were about to enter, a staff member slammed the door shut. I asked him why, and he gave an awkward smile, saying Muslims need to pray. We were told to wait a few minutes. We sat on the sofas outside for two or three minutes, then a staff member came and asked what we wanted to do inside. I said we wanted to sit and wait for someone, and he opened the door for us. We went in and sat down, and later, other people also came in to sit. So it's not that the room is unavailable. Overall, the price is probably just due to its good location. Don't expect much else.
