The receptionists are plain racists. We booked superior room because we need 1.8m wide bed. We arrived in the afternoon and a male receptionist assigned us to an extremely narrow room in a zigzagged corner of the hotel. After exiting the elevator we had to make several turns and even climb down steps again to get to the room, away from the majority of rooms on the normal floor. The bed was only 1.6m wide. The room could barely fit two persons with luggage, nothing similar to the advertisement of 29 squaremeters and 1.8-2m bed. It looked more like a standard double room than a superior room (unfortunately I was to confused and did not take photo of this room). We asked the receptionist why the bed size was wrong and said we were willing to pay for upgrade if another room type had larger bed. A female said that all rooms had the same bed size 1.6m and we almost believed. We contacted Trip customer support to confirm and they were super helpful. They managed to communicate with the reception and get us changed to a proper superior room with 1.8m bed, on a normal floor without extra stairs to climb. While we were thankful to Trip customer support’s help and appreciate the solution, when we enter the new room we still found the room was not properly cleaned and a wet dirty cloth was left at the bedside. We strongly suspect that we got this treatment due to our Asian appearance. Terrible experience. Do not book.
