The hotel is in a quiet area and our room was quiet as well. Staff was friendly. Room was large and comfortable. The free breakfast was ample. Only cons were the tv does not have guide (so you don't know what is on). And the indoor pool and spa were nice, but there were a lot of kids making it noisy and they were allowed in the hot tub which was annoying.

The room was spacious and perfect for our little family get-away! Location is great! Staff were friendly and responsive. The pool and hot tub needed better up-keep but we were able to use it. Our room was recently remodeled with new bathroom tub, counters, etc. There was a new heat/air unit that also had a “dry” setting that worked really well to keep the room comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was clean and soft. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Breakfast and Restaurant The breakfast actually stayed well stocked throughout the designated times. Two waffle machines helped move crowds along. King bed was older but a quality built bed so sleeping was easy on the medium firm mattress. As always Little Africa Cuisine on Fulton St was an Amazing Unique celebration of food. I don't know of another restaurant like this in the United States. Also, the Social House next to Van Andel Arena had a budget friendly menu with interesting appetizers and amazing pizza!

Staff was lovely. Breakfast options were perfect for my family. It was clean. Only disappointment was the pull out couch. There wasn't much comfort and it was quite noisy when you moved.

The room needed a deep clean, the carpet was dirty and there was black mold near the air conditioner and along the bathtub. Both my daughter and I had lingering respiratory issues from the air quality in the room.

It was just ok, we had to ask for a handicap room, they didn’t read the message that I put on line. And was really looking forward to the hot tub which was not open that was the reason I put the reservation in there

Standard room, standard stay. Clean and basic. Breakfast had been wiped out by traveling sports team families by the time we arrived, so we skipped the free breakfast.
