Property Description
Plenty of room to park and turn around your trucks and trailers and ride your ATV/ORV from the property. Lewiston Grade Road ORV trail is 1/4 from here. Your cozy river retreat awaits in Grayling, Michigan at this secluded and peaceful 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home on the East Branch of the Au Sable River. One king bed, three queen beds and 2 queen sleeper sofas offer enough space for family and friends to gather for a time of fun, adventure and relaxation. In addition to all that Northern Michigan has to offer, you are in the heart of "river country" with world-renowned trout fishing on the Au Sable River as well as the near-by Manistee River. With close proximity to ORV trails there is no need to trailer your "toys" as you can ride directly from the house...and there is plenty of room for parking in the circular driveway and beyond. The property was VERY beautiful and private. The house was extremely clean and they had everything you would need for a weekend stay, or longer!! The hosts were very communicative and friendly. There was plenty of yard space for games as well as a beautiful patio and basement hang out space. HIGHLY recommend staying here, we will be back in the future!

We stayed here for our annual family vacation. The house had plenty of room for our entire party of 7 adults and 3 kids. The home is fully stocked with every comfort of home. The bonus was a high chair and stroller which came in handy. The house was very clean and and had very cute decor. We loved the river in the back yard. We did a river walk, floated on tubes and just enjoyed our private creek. The hosts were great and replied in a timing manner to any questions. Great experience.

Highly recommended!! The house was great, clean, well-organized, very detail oriented (labels on everything), excellent amenities, and plenty of room for your whole family. The river in the back yard is simply amazing, a babbling brook to fall asleep to was to die for. There was plenty of space around the property for kids to run around, or to have yard games, etc. The location of the house is only 12 minutes from downtown Grayling, so getting groceries or takeout food was no problem at all. There was plenty to do outdoors as well. Not only is there a river in the back yard, you are virtually across the main road from Hartwick Pines State Forest, which has plenty of things to do with the family, including 2 small lakes with fishing platforms safe for little kids. Hartwick also has miles of hiking trail, a logging museum, and a playground for the kiddos.Again, I would highly recommend this property, and we will most definitely be staying here again in the future.

Absolutely perfect!
The property was beautiful, even with the ice storms that happened, the owners made sure to clear the backyard of branches for our wedding ceremony. We had an amazing time staying here!

Beautiful wintertime stay!!
It was everything that we hoped for! Access to public trails as well as private snowmobile trails. Absolutely wonderful to have a bonfire, while riverside. Can’t wait for another opportunity to stay again.

Short but Sweet
We stayed only two nights but agreed we needed another full day to enjoy the property. We loved hearing the steady stream of water, which looked majestic because of the snow. The place was quiet and clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay!
