Greenway House Bed and Breakfast

We loved the Greenway House and hope to go back. Candace and Paul are the best hosts who make you feel welcome and comfortable with every detail. The setting is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Our bathroom was fantastic and even came with comfy robes to wear while there. We loved the delicious breakfast and getting to know some of the other people staying there. It’s quiet and peaceful while sitting in the garden area or in the porch swing. What a great place to get away and relax! You won’t regret a trip to the Greenway House. Also, take a little trip over to Ripon and explore the little shops or explore the Green Lake Conference Center.

My daughter-in-law's 73-year-old aunt from Ecuador, stayed at the Greenway House B&B last week. She has stage 4 cancer and has just wrapped up an aggressive chemo regimen. She speaks some english but is not fluent. We brought her to Green Lake so she can enjoy time with our family and our new grandbaby. We rented a house several doors down but wanted a quieter place for her so the Greenway House B&B seemed perfect. The accommodations were fine, breakfast quality was fine. What was not fine was the RUDE treatment our family member received from Candace, one of the owners, each morning at the breakfast table. She was aggressive with our Aunt and with my daughter in law who joined her for breakfast one morning to help her aunt navigate/translate the comments that Candace would say to her. She seemed to take pride in being rude to them and the others in the dining room over several mornings. For example, my daughter in law placed a half full packet of sugar on the table she had used for her coffee which she was not done with and Candace grabbed it and pointed to the trash can in the corner and barked “The trash goes there”. She boasted "I know how to handle guests after 25 years in business and I just handled you". After hearing a couple of things she did over breakfast, I wandered up there to speak to her one afternoon but I could not find her at the time. Our aunt quit eating breakfast there because of the way she was treated. We chose the Greenway due to its overwhelming 5 star reviews. It’s unfortunate that our experience really was the opposite. Folks, find another place to stay! Candace's aggressive comments over breakfast are a real negative. Why sign up for that? She needs a lesson in politeness that the guests are THE reason their B&B exists and to treat everyone with respect. We definitely will not be back.

Beautiful historic home, lovely room, wonderful inn keepers. We enjoyed our stay very much.

10/5 ☆'s I could go on and on, however I'll try to cut to the chase. POSITIVELY OVERWHELMED WITH ALL THE THINGS...furnishings, bed, pillows, bathroom WOW, full length mirror, wine, water, coffee, breakfast, and conversations with Candace and Paul.

Greenway House is a wonderful place to get away from reality for a bit. The beautifully renovated home and gardens were wonderful place to relax and rest. While our room and our breakfast was fantastic and beyond our expectations, it was the hospitality of Paul and Candace that made for such a great experience. I highly recommend a stay!!

We booked a weekend visit at the very last minute. What a wonderful B&B. Quiet. Comfortable. Delicious breakfast. You can't expect anything more. Unfortunately, a torrential storm ruined our plans for golfing. The Greenway made the trip a success.

A very enjoyable 4-night stay. The quality and presentation of the breakfast was excellent, and the inn keepers are accommodating for special requests made ahead. There are beverages, including wine, available 24 hours. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice sitting arrangements. The bathrooms were modern with large walk-in showers.

We stayed in the Sherwood, which is beautiful, immaculate, and has a lovely porch. There is a large patio area with tables, chairs, and loungers to relax and enjoy the view. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, across the street from Green Lake and walkable to town. Candace is a wonderful host, very helpful to give restaurant recommendations and advice on what to do around area. Catherine is also friendly and welcoming, just lovely people. We will happily return.
