This is the best 3 star hotel i have ever stayed in located beside a great lake with a nice view, Well situated 4 miles from Headford and 30 minutes from Galway city. Pool table and dart boards to keep you entertained. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Staff incredibly helpful and kind, my partner and I were having accommodation trouble and the man behind the bar (didn’t get his name), went above and beyond to help us sort out accommodation even though they where fully booked! He stayed with us while we rang hotels and gave us numbers of lodges he knew of. We got it sorted and we owe him a huge thank you! Food and drink are delish, fantastic views over the lake. Pool table and live music inside. Homey and relaxed vibes, would recommend to a friend. Lodes of free parking around the back with cute places to picnic, paddle and enjoy the views. Not the best for swimming as is it very shallow and a good few mozzies. Overall a great experience!

Nice place for a short break. On the edge of lake corrib. Great staff and lovely food. Good location, not far from cong and ashford castle. Great views from our room. Nice atmosphere in the bar at night. Would recommend this place for a short break.

Ate in the bar. Great service, excellent food and a brilliant view across Lough Corrib to the mountains of Connemaragh. Possibly the best burger I've ever had. They were not actually open when we arrived but laid on a full bar and menu for us. Outstanding support for my disabled mother-in-law - couldn't have been more accommodating.

Decided to go for an evening meal with some visiting friends. The Bistro is advertised to be open until 9pm. Indeed the flowery description invites one to enjoy " the thursday steak by the lake" evenings from 5pm to 9pm. We arrived at ten minutes to eight pm and were told the kitchen had closed. No apology no discussion. Bye bye. I will not be returning!

It's really worth going to this establishment just to experience the bad manner and attitude of the so called manager.he has managed to destroy this beautiful hotel single handed. Every young person should visit as a project in how not to do it. None of the locals are welcome and he has spoken so many bad things about some of the local business community.best advice visit once.
