AC Hotel Greenville

Great Room.

I loved my stay! The hotel is in the perfect location to have access to everything downtown. Also, the hotel is so unique!

Everything was good. I feel the valet could be more welcoming when you first get there. No one came over to my car when I pulled in. I had to park to the side, get out of my car, and ask what the parking procedure was. That happened both times I have stayed there.

Hotel itself was clean and the room was spacious. The only issue I had was with the parking garage for the hotel. I paid for a 24 hour parking and had a hotel key card, but when I went to leave the machine refused my ticket and would not open. I attempted to call the hotel staff for help and they only said they had to call someone else and that was It. The machine made me pay for a lost ticket in order to leave the garage which was $30. I then had to return to the garage to park my car at the hotel I was staying at and I was forced to take another ticket. The hotel staff said the only way I could leave was the pay the ticket again and that there was no other way because the parking garage was separate from them apparently. So every time I had to leave the parking garage I had to take a ticket and pay each time because there was no receipt available or anything I could do to prove I’ve already paid for a 24 hour period. I wasted an extras $60 to pay for parking.

The property has a great location, and the staff were there to meet our every need. The floor to ceiling window in our room gave us an amazing view of the city. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean and things were fine, but just fine. The check in staff were ok, but not terribly welcoming or friendly. The room decor is very minimalist and sparse if that’s your vibe, but we knew that from the photos. We were put in a room in the 2nd floor facing the street. The car and motorcycle noise was so loud and continuous, practically unbearable until 10:30 at night. I assume rooms on the higher floors are better, but I had to request earplugs in order to sleep. We had a last minute booking traveling through town and booked on *******, so no big deal. One night. But, wouldn’t stay at this property again.
