The Cove Eleuthera

Overall a very nice visit and the resort has great atmosphere, beautiful quiet beaches, casual but elegant dining, all with an outstanding staff.

First time staying at this resort. The grounds are immaculate and perfectly manicured. Truly breathtaking and spared no expense. The beach front villas were a standout, new, clean, and with all the amenities we needed. We loved being able to sit on the deck at night and walk strait to the beach. The food was good. Lunch was definitely the standout and they were previewing a new menu when we arrived which was phenomenal, I wish they served this the entire time. Dinner was average if I am being honest. The sushi was good as was the dinner menu but I just wasn’t wowed by it. The two beaches were the highlight and there were a lot of activities to choose from. The waters were calm most of our trip and we got to see sea turtles. The main pool was nice but it was somewhat windy (less than 20 mph) when we arrived and my wife got yelled at for trying to open the umbrellas. We could not be in the sun for long so this made the pool unusable for us. This was also interesting as the deck was covered in heavy duty Tuuci umbrellas and should have been able to hold up in a light breeze. The service was really good, especially the hostess and restaurant severs. The beach service was hit or miss. If there had been more folks serving the beaches, I would have probably spent at least another $1000 on drinks. The security here is also top notch and the gate is monitored 24x7. Upon checkout management did go the extra mile to ensure we had a good experience. Overall highly recommend and will definitely be back. The best hotel I have stayed at in The Bahamas.

My wife and I managed to get a 4 night escape to this amazing property. Upon entering, the views were amazing. The grounds were immaculate, not a thing out of place. The staff have all been incredibly friendly and helpful, and all the food and drink options were outstanding. I would highly recommend to a couple wanting a getaway with lazy days and nights.

If you look for that place where Aristotle was looking for Alexander the Great..you found it. So much space for your mind to decide what’s happiness on earth.

We had the best visit to The Cove Eleuthera, and would go back in a heartbeat. 3 nights was simply not enough! We flew in from Nassau, and were greeted at the airport by “O”, who is a true local and knows everyone we passed on the road! He shared fun facts about the island and his experiences there, and we could have talked with him for hours! After just 15 minutes, we arrived at The Cove and were greeted with a welcome drink (very good), and our baggage was taken for us on a golf cart. Reception and check in were so easy, and our room was ready early (1pm)! We went straight into the sea after unpacking, and were in awe of the tranquility of the two beaches that seemed to be for our exclusive use. Happy Hour started off right at 5, and Shaquille our bartender was the BEST! (One of us drinks alcohol and the other does not, and he was very creative in making things for both of us). During our stay, we spent time snorkeling, watching the turtles, enjoying the ocean and the water ring floats they put out for guests, and of course resting alongside the pool. We did the sushi class with Joel, who was fabulous and very encouraging, and even tried the local rum tasting with Shaquille. I had a rejuvenating massage with Nan, and I think her hands might be magic! Everything about our stay was delightful, and we ate all meals in the Freedom restaurant, as we ended up not leaving the property during our stay. The only note I have is that the service in the restaurant was pretty slow, so make sure you leave plenty of time/are on island time and *not* in a rush. Every person we interacted with was kind, pleasant, and willing to chat/share their stories with us. We will 100% have to come back!

A beautiful resort on this magnificent island. The resort, the rooms, the beach - it's all perfect. The rooms are very spacious, a lot of storage space, huge bathrooms, very comfortable beds, extremely silent AC! The pool area is great too, with a nice view over the two private beaches. very comfortable sun chairs. The restaurant is also well designed, with aquatic nice bar area. The outdoor bar with sundowner view is not to miss, when open. The staff is all over very friendly and helpful. Supervising could me much better, so the details would make the difference to the better. Chef tries hard but unfortunately only average outcome

Nice location on the island, food is decent albeit expensive for what it is. The wine is ridiculously priced, for example one glass of oyster bay is nearly 30 USD (by the time you’ve added tax etc)… that would buy nearly 3 bottles at home, suppose that’s island import life. Peaceful & well kept grounds.

Food was off the charts. Grounds were amazing. Very quiet and secluded. Off the beaten path not much else around. Will definitely go back. Housekeeping needs a little work.

The Cove was amazing. We went at the end of June and the beginning of July. The weather was fabulous. It rained one day for 30 minutes and then was hot. The staff was so nice and the resort was gorgeous. We had the best time; we had no issues with crowds. We snorkeled right out front and seen lots of turtles and cool looking fish. The resort was safe. I will be back.
