Due to a car breakdown, we had to spend a weekend in Grevenbroich involuntarily. But we were lucky in misfortune: the owner of the hotel sonderfeld and the staff did everything they could to make our stay a very pleasant one. We recommend this hotel highly! Thank you very much! Gisela and Holger

After 4 years due to Covid we arrived at the Sonderfeld staying for many years ago we were greeted like friends .The hotel is still great the breakfast is 5 star the lift is still there also the bar plenty of car parking spaces and the railway station bus station and taxi rank all across the road.5 star hotel for 3 star prices cannot beat it John Hellewell.

Das Hotel hat einen, ich würde es nennen, klassischen rheinischen Flair, ist gut gelegen und überzeugt mit netten Mitarbeiter, ruhigen Zimmern nach hinten hinaus, ich hatte ein Superior Zimmer gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank und stylisch kleinen Dusch-Badezimmer. Nach einer email Absprachen konnte ich einen sicheren guten Motorradabstellplatz im Hoteleigenen Hof problemlos regeln. Der Service ist sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Zur Straßenseite liegt der Grevenbroicher Bahnhof auf der anderen Straßenseite. Wie gesagt es gibt einen Hotel eigener Parkplatz für die meisten PKWs erreichbar aber limitiert, denke so 6 Stellplätze. Ansonsten Strassenseitig hat es Parkplätze und ein Parkhaus der Bundesbahn. Das Hotel hat demnächst einen Besitzerwechsel mal schauen was sich verändert oder bleibt. Ich würde wiederkommen- ach ja Frühstück war klasse.

Das Hotel Sonderfeld besticht durch freundliches Personal, Sauberkeit und ein ausgewogenes Frühstücksbuffet. Wir wurden zu 3 (2 Personen und Hund) für einen längeren Zeitraum aufgrund eines Versicherungsfalls unfreiwillig im Hotel untergebracht. Das ist rückblickend jedoch das beste was uns passieren konnte. Das Personal ist - ausnahmslos - unglaublich freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Jedes mal wenn man das Hotel betritt fühlt man sich Willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Der Reinigungsservice war makellos trotz unseres vierbeinigen Begleiters. Am Frühstücksbuffet wird jeder fündig. Von frischen Brötchen, über Müsli mit Früchten, Bacon und Rührei werden auch Vegetarier und Veganer fündig. Obwohl das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt, ist es im Gebäude ruhig und man bekommt nichts vom Bahnhof mit. Auch wenn das Gebäude von außen etwas älter aussieht, sind die Zimmer mit hochwertigen Möbeln ausgestatt und top renoviert. Unsere persönlichen Highlights waren die Besuche in dem hoteleigenen Saunabereich. Dort kann man sich wohlfühlen und den Alltagsstress vergessen.
