The room was neatly decorated and warm, but there was no hot water in the shower. The bed was a bit too soft and the family slept very uncomfortable.

If you're considering staying here, be very careful. We arrived at 9 or 10 PM and were reprimanded by the front desk staff. They said we arrived too late and that they only let us check in because they were in a good mood. First of all, I am a customer, and I have the right to choose when I arrive. Secondly, I have already paid for the room. What do you mean by "only letting us check in because they were in a good mood"? Does that mean they wouldn't care about the room fee if they were in a bad mood? Thirdly, I am staying in a star-rated hotel, not a guesthouse where we would disturb the host's rest. Regardless of our arrival time, I believe a star-rated hotel should greet us with a smile.

The balcony leads directly to the beach. There is a public kitchen and laundry room. The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is super comfortable.

Spending New Year’s Eve here this year is particularly memorable! This is a rare hotel on the West Coast that feels close to a five-star hotel in every aspect, and it also has a very nice jacuzzi! Opposite the hotel is Bucclengh, the restaurant of the Centenary Hotel, and the New Year's Eve dinner is also served. It is highly recommended! After dinner, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach (actually driving may be more comfortable haha)

It should be a better motel in Greymouth. Generally, the problem with motels is that they smell bad and the furniture is old, but this one is relatively new and clean.
