The property was very cute and clean, which I really appreciated. Plus, the black cat that the owners have was super friendly and a real delight.

The landlord was very welcoming. It was the off-season, and there were six beds for one person. It was raining when I arrived, and the room felt a bit stuffy because it was underground.

A decent place to stay in Fox Glacier, the second town south of Greymouth, it's also close to Lake Mattson.

The color scheme is very warm and inviting, and the facilities are comprehensive. Spa, kayaks, and mountain bikes are available. Check-in is convenient, and the rooms have heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Although the toilet and bathroom are shared, they are very clean! There are cats and dogs; we even met a cute little cow-shaped cat in the evening and had a great time playing with it! It's very close to a large supermarket and the town center. Highly recommended! Check-out time is generally before 10 PM.

This is a very bright and unique hostel! They have both dorms and private rooms. I stayed in a private room with a terrace – it was fantastic! The room was cozy, like everything else in the hostel. It was heated, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and there were towels – everything was very comfortable! The shared showers and kitchen were clean! The spacious kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need; I really loved it! The staff was very polite and friendly. Parking was available. I would happily stay here again!
