Our rooms are intentionally not equipped with air conditioning, and this is clearly communicated on all booking platforms. Thanks to our Alpine location, this has traditionally not been necessary. In addition, today's environmental regulations make the installation of such systems increasingly challenging. On a few exceptionally warm summer days, temperatures can still rise higher than expected. While such incidents are fortunately very rare, they can occasionally occur despite regular maintenance. Our team reacted immediately by relocating you to another room, and the technical issue was fully resolved the following day.Regarding your comments about flies in the lobby, our hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful Alpine countryside. During the summer months, insects can occasionally find their way into public areas despite our continuous cleaning routines and preventive measures. While we do everything possible to minimise this, it cannot be completely avoided in a natural mountain environment.We are also sorry to learn that our breakfast did not meet your expectations. Our breakfast buffet is consistently praised by the vast majority of our guests for its wide selection, freshness, and quality. It is therefore particularly disappointing to hear that your experience was different. Your feedback has been shared with our kitchen team and will be carefully reviewed.We also noticed your comment regarding the room rate of more than CHF 5,000 per night. We would like to clarify that our Junior Suites are typically priced between approximately CHF 800 and CHF 1,200 per night during the high season, depending on the booking conditions and travel dates. We are therefore unable to reconcile the amount mentioned in your review. It may refer to the total cost of your reservation or include additional services.
