"Unlike the restaurant, which was reviewed separately in its respective section, we (a group of approximately 15 people) cannot recommend this hotel. The rooms facing the street have a significant noise problem. There is very little traffic on the street, except perhaps between midnight and 5 a.m., and the windows are poorly insulated, resulting in constant noise. The street noise was even audible in the rooms at the back of the hotel, forcing us to close the windows there as well, starting at 5 a.m. Furthermore, the room doors leading to the hallway also have inadequate soundproofing. We could hear almost every word spoken in the hallway from inside our room. Otherwise, the rooms and breakfast were unremarkable and neither particularly noteworthy nor disappointing."
