Very unique hostel. Personally think that the price is high~. The Dutch little brother at the reception is very friendly! There is no TV in the room, and the self-service kitchen is at the end of the floor where you can heat your own hot water, which is very convenient! A unique experience~

The best prison experience what we had so far. The only recommemdation is next time pls turn on the heater in a very rainy Saturday because everywhere in the hoster the heaters were turned off. After we had arrived we turned the on and the room heated up quicly so it was ok but it would be nicer if you arrive to a warm room when you are fully wet. Plus point: The cappuchino is nice and cheap.

We were looking for a lodging with a small kitchenette whenever I found the Alibi Hostel. As a couple in our 40s, we didn't know how well we'd be received at a hostel, but the staff didn't blink an eye. The double room was perfect for us. The staff was very accommodating with providing us with a fan and one of the double rooms without bunk beds. The kitchen was well equipped. Two refrigerators for sharing. The mattresses were more comfortable than I would have expected. The bathrooms are kept quite clean with the shower and toilet facilities separate from each other. Pleased that they provided linens, pillows, and towels. The only small issue we had was that Wi-Fi went in and out late at night, likely when most people were using it. Regardless, would recommend. The building is very unique.

Wahnsinn, das Erlebnis hier. In alten Zellen übernachten, Bett selber machen, Klo und Dusche auf'm Flur. Alles wie früher, etwas unheimlich. Die Sichtfenster für die Aufseher, die alten, dicken Türen, der Innenhof mit Draht und Gittern. Ein kleines Museum im unteren Teil des Hauses. Liebevoll auch der Service mit dem Empfang, gutes W-Lan und einfaches Frühstück.

Goed verblijf gehad in een luxe cel met eigen badkamer. Het is er netjes en schoon, goede bedden en een fijne douche. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig, maar goed. De locatie is goed, je loopt zo het centrum van Leeuwarden in. Er zijn ook nog een aantal zitjes waar je gebruik van kan maken en een gezamenlijk keukentje. Het kan wel behoorlijk gehorig zijn.

Tijdens kort verblijf in Leeuwarden nachtje in de cel doorgebracht. Wel een met eigen douche en wc. Eenvoudig maar leuke ervaring! Eenvoudig maar prima ontbijt voor ongeveer €10/p. Op zondag kun je het beste parkeren op parking 8946 oosterbuurt aangezien dat gratis is en dan betaal je alleen voor maandag ochtend. In de stad dus alles op op loopafstand.

Unieke locatie, met een hele leuke sfeer, zowel in als rondom het gebouw. Rondom het hostel zijn wat restaurantjes (streetfood en proefverlof ) en creatieve werkplaatsen. Alles was zeer schoon. De bedden waren ok, en je mist wat voorzieningen. Maar naar dit hostel ga je vooral voor de ervaring. Wel zeer hartelijk personeel.

Een mooie locatie , authentieke details zijn behouden. Mijn nachtje vrijwillige opsluiting 😉 heb ik als geweldig ervaren. Alles is goed geregeld, keurig en schoon. Ontzettend aardig en sympathieke medewerkers, de ontvangst en uitcheck was hartelijk. Zeer aan te bevelen!
