It is recommended to choose a room with a balcony facing the lake. We lived in Building 5, which is very close to the lake. It is comfortable overall. It was off-season when we went there, so there were few people and we could play freely on the snow.
Transportation: I chartered a car from Prague to the Mondi Hotel. If you are only playing in Austria or the lake area, it is best to go there from Linz and Salzburg as a transfer station.
It is also very convenient to get from the Mondi Hotel to Hallstatt. Take the bus to the town at the foot of the mountain, and then take the obb to Hallstatt. It takes about an hour, mainly depending on the connection time between the bus and the railway. I feel that this place is much more beautiful than Hallstatt. Hallstatt is surrounded by mountains.
