Absolutely beautiful accommodation. We were in room number 1 and it was just perfect. The courtyard is fabulous and the gardens are lovely. The pool is fantastic and the staff are impeccable. Cool, relaxed and spotless. Would most highly recommend!!

I am 65 years old. I have travelled quite widely on international business, staying in innumerable hotels. I can say without hesitation that this is the very best I've ever stayed in. The building is lovely, the courtyard bar a delight, but the truly spectacular aspect of the place is the view, across the stunning monastery (make sure you visit) to the beautiful mountains beyond. Wow!

We came to Guadalupe from Cáceres and parked for free on a street by the health clinic a couple minutes walk from the Parador. The Parador does have an on-site pay lot. The Parador is comprised of two historic buildings. Upon entering one sees the courtyard full of orange and lemon trees. The restaurant, bar/cafeteria, and restaurant were in rooms off the courtyard. Check in was quick. Getting to our room was an adventure. Go to the end of the courtyard and take an elevator up. Then, walk along the upper courtyard and down a hallway to another elevator to go up. Finally there was another hallway, down three stairs, and around the corner to our room. The room was fairly standard Parador except this one had a balcony overlooking the gardens and monastery.

Exceptional staff. Beautiful courtyard. Nothing like it in town in terms of excellent food and service. We ate from the bar food menu and it was really lovely. Families and couples around us. All happy. A beautiful sense of calm. The room was excellent too. Had a lovely swim. The attractions are a short walk. Just a lovely experience.

Perfectly located within a 1 minute walk to the small village square with its several bars and restaurants. The hotel has fantastic grounds filled with lemon and orange trees. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful with a cooked option. Parking for motorcycles is very easy, the entrance to the car park is almost directly next to the main entrance, the parking area is enough for over 20 cars and importantly it is secure, gated and locked at night. All in all it is a lovely hotel in the perfect location with good parking

The Parador of Guadalupe, the town and the immediate mountainous surroundings are so welcoming. The historic shrine, the Central Spain architecture, the orange trees patio... Another pleasant stop on our Central Spain self driving tour.

Upgraded room as suggested to room with balcony and views. Lovely swimming pool and grounds. Courtyard for drinks. Monastery tour all in Spanish. Town square lovely with good restaurants.
