Ark Properties in Guangzhou

The hotel location is not far from the subway station. The front desk upgraded me to a suite for free, and the breakfast was quite good. The room was very clean.

Service: The staff were all very attentive and the service was excellent. They even packed breakfast for me because I had an early flight. Hygiene: Absolutely terrible. When I took a shower at night, I took off my glasses and didn't notice it, but the next morning, when I rinsed my hair without my glasses, I found the previous guest's cigarette butt in the bathroom (picture 1). Theoretically, the fifth floor is also a non-smoking floor (picture 2). Finally, as I was about to leave, I was checking the bed for forgotten items and saw a dark red stain. When I lifted the mattress pad, there was a very obvious bloodstain (picture 3). There were also some dried dark brown liquid stains on the wall next to the toilet (picture 4), which made it hard not to think of a previous guest's diarrhea splatter. I wonder how long it had been there without being cleaned. Facilities: Pictures 5 and 6 show the condition of the hotel's peeling paint and the quality of the hotel slippers, respectively. The pictures speak for themselves. Considering it's Guangzhou, I can understand the peeling paint, but the quality of the slippers is hard to praise. Environment: It's quite close to the airport, and there are always large vehicles on the road outside. It can get a little noisy when there are flights or large vehicles passing by. But overall, it's not bad. 24-hour airport shuttle: They use a seven-seater commercial vehicle. The driver was very nice and the service was great.

The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is very good, and the bathroom is equipped with a smart toilet. The price is really good value for money. The front desk customer service is enthusiastic, there are many breakfast varieties, which are suitable for Guangzhou people's taste, and porridge is delivered in the evening. It was a very pleasant stay experience!

This hotel offers incredible value for money. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Downstairs, you'll find an old street that preserves the charm of the old city. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with a smart control system. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the layout is well-proportioned with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the bustling old town. The service here is absolutely on par with a five-star hotel; the staff are polite and enthusiastic, and any requests we had were addressed promptly.
