It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

You need to conquer a flight of stairs to the lobby. Normally not a problem, but challenging with multiple luggages. They do have a slope by the side but so steep that I find useless and no one from the hotel helps. The hotel also doesn't have non-smoking floors, in fact even the lifts stank of cigarette smoke. The first room they gave me had a strong cigarette smell and the front desk staff kindly arranged for me to see 2 other rooms and I had a room change to another room that was slightly better.  The room is very small, even for one. Imagine it to be cramped for two pax. There isn't even space for proper luggage placement. There was no wardrobe and no place to hang even if you brought your own hangers. The bathroom is tiny, with most of the space allocated to the standing shower area. The handle of the shower sliding door was wrapped in duct tape and it couldn't even close properly. Full basic amenities are provided though I didn't use them so can't comment on the quality. Bed is firm and higher than usual but acceptable. Location wise there are alot of food options nearby. Yongqing Fang is about 20 mins walk away in a straight distance.  Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Going to visit relatives nearby, stayed nearby for one night, the environment is OK. Some rooms are newly renovated, but the number of new decorations in the double room is not much, and it is not fixed. Next time, I will book it early and then comment.

The hotel is very convenient for traveling. There is a subway nearby and there are many places to eat around. The room is large and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. We stayed here for 4 consecutive days. It may be due to the location of the room we stayed in. There was construction outside the hotel at night, and the construction noise was a bit loud one night. Didn't sleep well.

The first time I came to Guangzhou, I opened the booking software and was attracted by Dexianfang. The building of the small bungalow was designed and built by the owner during the three years of the epidemic. This is because the B&B has just started operating in recent years. The rooms on the first floor are fine, but there is a slight smell on the second floor. It should be better in a while. All the facilities in the room are very good. , there is a fresh air system, the toilets are automatic and smart, and I like the color decoration very much. I think the accommodation environment on this trip is very good, and the price is also very reasonable. The main reason is that it is very convenient to travel. You can walk to Yongqingfang in a few minutes~ It is not far from Shamian Island. I will definitely stay here next time✌️ In the end, the real thing matched the pictures online^_^

It's still very good, convenient location, antique, and has a sense of history. The entire first floor feels like you live in one bedroom and one living room. The living room outside is full of beautiful things. Although it is not used much, it looks very like home. Except for the bathroom, which is relatively small, everything else is pretty good! The location is excellent. It is a half-hour walk from Liwan Park in Liwan District, Enning Road Cultural Street, seafood market and Shamian. It is a quarter-hour walk from Ruyifang subway station on Line 6. The most recommended thing is that the hotel is directly behind the river. On the side, the room has a river view. The hotel's customer service was very good. Because the induction cooker was not working, they provided us with a microwave. The only drawback is that due to the room type and the humidity and heat in Guangzhou itself, the loft bedroom has no windows, so the ventilation problem can only be solved through air conditioning. It is recommended that the washing machine in the house be cleaned regularly, after all, it is provided for residents to use.

We really enjoyed our stay in Yizhi! The location itself is worth every penny, we could just walk across the street for the metro and also venturing to the famous XiHua street for all local delicacies! The hotel facilities are very new and complete. Generally, hotels only provide shampoo and body soap. This hotel also has conditioner, plenty of hot water, and a large amount of water. The air conditioning is very powerful. However, there are no plastic slippers, only disposable ones. Fortunately, the floor in the shower room is relatively non-slip. 4. It is also very safe. You need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel. There are fixers on the windows both inside and outside the room to avoid accidents.

The facade is small and easy to miss. The biggest advantage is that it is close to the subway station and is right outside the door. This subway entrance and exit only has an upward elevator, which is not very friendly to guests carrying large boxes into the station. The room was small, and there was no extra space when the three beds were placed, not even a chair. The air conditioner on the innermost bed was facing the head, so I had to sleep on the other side upside down. There is an elevator, which is convenient to get up and down.
