Very disappointed with this hotel. The hotel layout is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the photo advertised on Trip. When I approached the receptionist, I was told that it was due to the photography angle and whatnot — which is not explainable because the photo advertised has a sofa and table, while the room given does not have those. It was a frustrating experience where the receptionist wouldn’t be able to justify the issue and suggested us to top up money for a room upgrade, which totally looks like a trap. We booked the room based on the photo advertised and were then given a lousy room. Upon approaching the receptionist, we were asked to top up money for a room upgrade. How can this be reasonable? At last, after I had a conversation with the receptionist, I was able to get a so-called “room upgrade” and, surprisingly, the upgraded room was exactly like the room (Cozy Queen Room — the one I booked) that was advertised on Trip. Thus, I leave it for you guys to judge and guess what is the message here. So everyone, just a note, please be careful before booking the room.
