JI Hotel (Guangzhou Rainbow Bridge Metro Station)

This is my third time staying at this hotel and I’m always happy with the experience. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the subway station. The room is clean, and the staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointing stay. The housekeeping standard was poor. We returned to our room to find that no towels had been replaced at all. Even after I raised my concerns with the hotel, the housekeeping the following day was still careless and the bed was left looking very untidy. The front desk service was also disappointing. There was barely any greeting or welcoming expression, and the staff often came across as cold and uninterested. What made me even more uncomfortable was that I personally noticed a clear difference in how warmly some staff interacted with mainland Chinese guests compared with us. I can’t say why, but the difference was noticeable. I even booked an additional room during our stay, so it was frustrating to spend more money and still receive this level of service. I’m not expecting luxury, but basic cleanliness, properly replenished towels and friendly, consistent service towards all guests should not be too much to ask.

3rd time staying in this hotel. Special request a room near to laundry area and the front desk manage to arranged it. 3 minutes walk from subway station. Definitely will come back again whenever I back to Guangzhou!
