Orange Hotel (Haizhu Square Subway Station Branch, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou)

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping aunties did a great job keeping the environment clean, tidy, and comfortable. My only minor complaints are that the room layout was a bit average, and the mini-fridge wasn't very cold. Everything else was great, and the oranges were delicious! 😋

Huge room with a clean environment. Highly recommended if you're looking for a hotel on Beijing Street. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a strong, pleasant orange scent. It's really perfect for young people! I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time.

This stay was really good. The hotel is right on Qiyi Road, which makes getting around by car super convenient. The room was spotless, every corner was tidy, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel. The staff were great, handling check-in and check-out quickly. Plus, there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Overall, it was a very comfortable and reassuring stay. I'd definitely recommend it to friends who are traveling.

I booked a business king room, but it looked different from the pictures. The window was too small, letting in no sunlight, which made the room feel very depressing. It turns out the large curtain was hiding a fake window. The street noise from passing cars was also quite loud and affected my rest. What was really unacceptable was that I went out for breakfast before the 12 PM checkout time, and my key card no longer worked to get back into the room. Even after the front desk tried to fix it, it still wouldn't swipe. I ended up having to ask a cleaning lady to open the door for me, which left a very bad impression. Overall, this stay was not good value for money.

The location is quite good, but the front desk is on the fourth floor. There's no clear sign on the first floor! It's quite a trek with luggage, and the slope is steep, so ladies beware! If your suitcase is heavy, you could easily trip. The value for money is just average, probably because I booked during the summer holiday, so it wasn't cheap. I was returning to Guangzhou from Hong Kong and was really worried about gnats, so I sprayed the whole room, only to realize it was very enclosed and the windows didn't open. The tatami mat is a bit awkward to get in and out of, better suited for a single person. The hotel providing a laundry room is great, but I personally saw a man drying his underwear there, which was a bit off-putting. Oh, and there are many good restaurants nearby, and the food delivery robots are a nice touch!

The smart room design is very user-friendly, and the hotel's cleaning staff are incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. The location is super close to Beijing Road, perfect for experiencing the authentic local culture of old Guangzhou.
