Lavande Hotel (Guangzhou Tianhe Park Yuancun Metro Station) Reviews

I booked this hotel because I needed to see a doctor. I called them beforehand and left a message requesting a quiet room. However, the second floor of the hotel is like a maze with no elevator, and my room was right next to an air conditioning unit. It sounded like I was sleeping on an airplane! I couldn't fall asleep until 2 AM. The hotel staff's attitude was terrible; if it weren't for calling Trip.com to intervene, I wouldn't have gotten any sleep at all. There were tiger claw marks on the sheets, and I'm not sure whose fault that is. If you enjoy sleeping on an airplane, then this is the hotel for you!

I booked a standard room with a window, but the sound insulation was very poor, making it quite noisy. Also, the bathroom drain was clogged, as shown in the picture. A colleague of mine booked a windowless room, and it was full of drain flies. Another colleague's room had a strong Middle Eastern fragrance, likely from the previous guest's perfume that hadn't been cleaned properly.

Great location, its near to mrt station room maybe little bit small, but its okay as shown as picture. Will stay again if we back to Guangzhou

The transportation is quite convenient, right next to Tianhe Park, and the environment is also nice.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, but everything you need is there. The air conditioning is comfortable and doesn't blow directly onto the bed. The room lights are a bit dim, and there's not enough light. Cleanliness: The room is very clean. The hotel hallway has a slightly strong fragrance, which gave me a headache. Environment: The hotel has convenient transportation and a comfortable environment. Service: The service is excellent. When the toilet was clogged, I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to fix it.

Hygiene: The room had a lot of small bugs, and some were even crawling on the towels. Facilities: The elevator doesn't go to the second floor directly. You have to go to the third floor first, then take a long detour and walk down the stairs to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. There are no delivery robots; food delivery personnel come up to the rooms directly, and the elevator doesn't require a key card. Service: The service attitude was very good, and they generally met our needs.

The facilities are truly awful. To reach rooms on the 2nd floor, you're forced to take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then descend stairs back down to the 2nd. The stairs near the elevator actually lead to a different hotel ('Jiawaijia Hotel'), and finding the *right* staircase to the 2nd floor requires you to practically walk across the entire property. We were also assigned a room in the absolute furthest corner, making the journey feel like traversing the hotel twice – it was enough to make you dizzy just trying to locate it. To add to the woes, the front desk computer kept lagging during check-in. The string of issues was utterly infuriating. I booked a king-size room, but they switched me to a twin room instead. The layout felt like they squeezed every possible inch out of the space – please see the pictures. This was such a bizarre experience, and the overall impression was extremely poor. This particular hotel truly damages the reputation of Lavande.

This hotel choice for my trip was absolutely divine! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt completely at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient during check-in, even offering warm tea and local travel guides without me asking. The parking directions were so detailed, they even included the route, making me feel right at home immediately.

This hotel is extremely old. The bathroom has mold in several spots and the ceiling paint is peeling.

A decent hotel overall. The room was clean and well-equipped, the service was attentive, and the location was excellent. There are lots of snack bars and good food nearby, and it's very convenient for transport, right next to Tianhe Park. The only minor drawback was the old, slow elevator, but everything else was great.

My room was on 2nd floor and there is no lift now going to the second floor first we go to 3rd floor then done by stressed to the second floor this is very horrible experience I do not recommend at all

Air conditioning TV and Wifi not working. Room conditions very bad. Elevator very slow. Good location.

First off, the hotel's hygiene was quite good; it was clean and tidy, and the spacious bathroom made showering very comfortable. Secondly, regarding the service, a special thanks to the front desk for upgrading my room from one without a window to one with a window. It made my stay significantly more comfortable, and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Also, allowing a slightly late check-out was a huge convenience for me. Furthermore, the facilities were very comprehensive, and my experience using them was quite good. However, there were a couple of minor issues. The first is that the air conditioner's outdoor unit was right outside the room. So, whenever the temperature dropped a bit, the noise from the AC unit would be a little loud. I hope the hotel can pay a bit more attention to this issue.

The environment here is nice, and there are plenty of dining options conveniently located outside. It's close to a shopping mall and the subway station. It's also pretty quiet at night. Due to company reimbursement policies, I needed to have my invoice reissued, and the hotel staff were very helpful and understanding. Thumbs up!
