The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou

This hotel has an old-money European vibe. The front desk staff provided excellent and personable check-in service and really tried to accommodate our requests! A big shout out to the front desk attendant – I forgot her name, but it had the character '纯' (chún)! The room was spacious and breakfast was great! There were a couple of areas for improvement, though. When our family of six arrived in the lobby, there was no one there to greet or guide us. Other guests who came into the lobby after us were immediately assisted by staff. Then, after waiting for a bit, an employee came up to us and asked if we were checking out! That was quite annoying.

Got an upgraded room on a higher floor. The hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained. The service is exceptional, truly nothing to complain about. Both breakfast and dinner were quite good. There was even a lion dance performance on the first day of ***** New Year. They provide canned water in the rooms, which is a nice touch. The location is super convenient for walking to the museum, the riverside, and Canton Tower. The only minor issue is that the air conditioning was a bit too strong.

The hygiene was almost spotless, and the service was excellent. However, the hotel's soundproofing is poor, and the varying quality of guests is a common issue, leading to noise that almost made me leave a bad review. But the staff did their absolute best. The hotel should especially thank Connie, the manager of the Foods restaurant, who made us feel completely at home, as if we were visiting friends. Doris, Sofie, and Aria also saved the overall impression. The duty managers, Mia and Yannis, were also very kind. Focusing on the people rather than the issues, the hotel should be proud to have such wonderful employees. A special thanks also to Manager Fang for the thoughtful little gift. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent location! It's within walking distance to Haixinsha Asian Games Park, Haixinsha Bridge, and Canton Tower, and right next to the Guangdong Provincial Museum. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a room with a stunning Canton Tower and river view. The room had a fantastic view, and the city lights at night were absolutely beautiful. Overall, the service was pretty good; the staff were warm and polite.

The service was excellent, with a dedicated butler on hand to help with any issues. The room had a fantastic view of Canton Tower, and was fully equipped with all amenities, including a well-stocked mini-bar.

The executive lounge service was excellent. It would be even better if the food quality could be improved a bit.
