The front desk upgraded my room when I checked in. However, around 10 PM when I was about to sleep, a fan outside my window started up and it was extremely loud. I contacted the front desk and they promptly moved me to Building 2. The service was great, they solved the problem immediately. The breakfast was also very good, and the hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Guangzhou Station.

Excellent, truly fantastic! The room had all the necessary amenities, perfectly sufficient for a basic stay. The hygiene was meticulous, no strange odors, and the hallway was quiet, ensuring a good rest. The staff were warm and attentive during check-in and when answering questions, promptly resolving any issues. I had a very comfortable stay.

The location is convenient, with a subway station right across the street and Liuhua Lake Park next door. The facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms further inside are relatively quiet. The cleanliness is well-maintained, and the service is good. Overall, it's a great place, and I've stayed here multiple times.

This historic five-star hotel truly boasts a unique cultural charm. Despite being an established five-star property, it doesn't feel old at all; the rooms and facilities are new and very comfortable. A special thank you to Xiao Feng and Xiao Dan at the front desk for their excellent, warm, and attentive service. They even upgraded my room and extended my checkout time this visit. It's definitely worth staying here again when visiting the area.

The Dongfang Hotel is an established five-star hotel, and it's quite good in all aspects. It's a large property with many rooms, and the hallway fragrance is pleasant. However, the air conditioning in the hallways is set very low, creating a significant temperature difference when you step out of your room. The only downside is the lack of a self-service laundry room. This might be common for many older five-star hotels, but I still wish they had free self-service laundry; it would be much more convenient.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff were polite. It's a reliable, well-established five-star hotel that truly puts your mind at ease. The location is excellent, right next to Yuexiu Park and very close to the metro station, making it super convenient to get anywhere.

The room is very spacious, and the overall environment is excellent. The service attitude is superb, especially Front Desk Assistant Xiao Lin, who was very enthusiastic and kind. The only downsides are that the hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are a bit dated. The air conditioner in our room was leaking, but Xiao Lin was incredibly helpful and quickly arranged a room change. However, the new room was quite noisy due to its proximity to the road and ongoing subway construction. The room had large windows. The breakfast leaned towards Western style; it wouldn't be worth it if paid for separately, especially compared to the excellent dim sum (Cantonese morning tea) readily available throughout Guangzhou. The hotel's garden environment is lovely. I would stay here again.

The exterior of the hotel looks quite luxurious, but the actual stay felt a bit average; it seemed a little old. However, the location is great, making it easy to get around. There's a shopping mall right across the street and a subway station nearby.

The front desk service basically maintained a five-star hotel standard, but the room was a bit old. Our room, 7019, had mold on the wall next to the bathroom, and the silicone sealant around the sink was also moldy. I hope these issues can be improved.

The room decor, full of Lingnan charm, is elegant and comfortable, reflecting a typical Suzhou aesthetic. The architecture is grand and profound. The classic Cantonese dim sum at Nanguo Yanle Palace was delicious, and the staff were all attentive and thoughtful. The kids had a great time too.

The hotel was really nice. The pool and gym were both well equipped as well as the central garden. Restaurant and bar was very good.
