CityNote Hotel (Beijing Road Pedestrian Guangzhou)

We've had an awesome experience at City Note Hotel. Staff was wonderful/helpful and with its unbeatable location to Beijing Road made our trip so much more exciting. We would definitely return when we come back to Guangzhou!

Great location. Spacious room given the hotels in the area are all limited for space. The vibe here is good.

Best location for shopping and eating. Service staff is very helpful!! Rooms are clean but a bit small..all amenities are available. It ok since we hardly is in the room Beijing pedestrian street is just downstairs .

I stayed at City Note Guangzhou on 81 Xihu Road from 1/4/2026 and booked a family room for three people. While the room itself was spacious, the bathroom design was a major drawback. The toilet area had transparent glass, which offered very little privacy and made the setup quite uncomfortable, we had to use the bed linen to cover the glass door. In addition, there was a short change in the amenities as we were only given two sets instead of three. We raised this issue with the hotel staff upon arrival, and they assured us that an opaque sticker would be applied to the glass the next morning. However, when we returned to the hotel later that day, nothing had been done. We checked out on 4/4/2026 and informed the staff that we would be returning on 11/4/2026. Once again, they promised that the opaque sticker would be installed before our return, and we even paid for the room in advance based on that assurance. Unfortunately, when we came back on 11/4/2026, we were given the same family room and the promised modification had still not been done. We brought it up again, and once more the staff said it would be taken care of the next day. Sadly, by the time we checked out, nothing had changed. It was yet another empty promise. I agree with other reviewers who mentioned that the staff are not responsive or helpful. Due to the poor follow-through and lack of accountability, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel's location to Beijing pedestrian street is absolutely superb, entrance is at the side street with one lift going up and down, at busy times it can take a little longer. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with freshly made noodles on demand and a wide variety of others. Our second time stay two year in a row whenever we are in GZ. Will definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Very clean place and excellent location in the middle of Guangzhou. Many places to eat and shop just on neighbouring streets.

Very near to the big temple . Room is slightly small if got big luggage . Basin is outside the toilet . Receptionist are nice and friendly . Just that the lift only 1 , waiting time is super long .
