Yishang Hotel (Guangzhou Jiangnanxi Ergong Subway Station) Reviews

My rating for the facilities is mainly dragged down by the wifi experience. Somehow, for the 1st night I was not able to send whatsapp messages or watch youtube movie even though VPN is on. The 2nd and 3rd night was able to send whatsapp messages but not watch youtube movies (lagged at processing stage), however was able to watch youtube movies on 3rd and 4th morning. The other thing is the (Tianmao?) control, does not respond whatever I press, so was not able to watch TV dramas or movies either. The receptionist was notified of these 2 issues on the 2nd morning and duly noted the issue. Receptionists and breakfast room aunties were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure is strong so had good showers. Breakfast spread is chinese and sufficient. Plenty of eating places nearby, some even offer discounts for seniors, especially enjoy having HeyTea outlet nearby. Line 2 Shi Er Gong metro station is easily accessible. Overall still a value for money place to stay.

This is not the first time I choose this hotel. The location is great, the price is fair, will come again

Newly hotel location in town near MRT Line 2. Television will be better if provide local and central free TV in rooms.

Personalized service rendered especially the lady manager. She was cooled and went out of her way to help us book high speed train tickets. Kudos to her. However the aircon cannot be controlled during midnight.

The room I booked has no windows. The whole room is very dark and stuffy. I feel like the ventilation system is not very good. I don't know what kind of board is installed in the bathroom. The edges are all warped. Living alone, I am always afraid that there is a hidden door or something. I left a piece of clothing at the hotel, but the hotel didn't care. I called and they said I would wait for a reply. It's been almost a week and they still haven't called me back. I originally thought that the exam would be closer, but I had nightmares all night. This is the worst experience I've ever had at Yishang

Came to Guangzhou to play, booked this hotel. The green plants at the door are very nice, there are many kapok flowers, the location is very convenient, take the subway to see the yellow wind chimes, eat the authentic snacks in Guangzhou, it is very convenient to take a taxi, the bus stop and subway station are very close, the service is very enthusiastic, the room is upgraded, the lighting and view are good, the room is also very good, clean and tidy, next time I come to Guangzhou, I will choose this hotel to stay, highly recommended!

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, but this time it is the same room type but much smaller. There is not enough space to open the suitcase. The cleanliness of the room is also worse than before. The towels are stained and the bed was not put away properly when it was supposed to be cleaned, resulting in wooden I was scratching my feet, and there was no wind from the central air-conditioning, so I had to sleep with the window open. However, the room was full that day and there was nothing I could do about it. But the only thing that didn't change was that the waiters were nice.
