Right by the subway, which makes getting around super convenient. We brought my elderly parents here for an eye appointment. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The front desk even offered afternoon tea and late-night snacks. It's a bit like an Orange Hotel, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The smart toilet even came with disposable seat covers and wet wipes, which was a really nice touch.

On the morning of the 18th, the front desk called to ask for my approximate arrival time, saying they'd arrange a room. I immediately packed up and checked out of my previous hotel. However, upon arrival, I was told no rooms were ready yet, and I had to wait an hour. That was just the beginning. We were then assigned room 408. My mom and I dropped off our luggage and went out shopping. When we returned around 10 PM, we tried to switch off the lights, only to discover that none of the smart controls worked. The room lights stayed on, even after removing the key card. I reported it to the front desk, and around midnight, a technician came. He fiddled with things for a long time but couldn't fix anything. He then went down and brought back two eye masks, telling us to sleep with them on. Fine, I put up with that! Because with the lights constantly on, I obviously couldn't sleep. Around 2 AM, I went to the bathroom, and lo and behold, the smart toilet was also broken, completely out of power. Around 3 AM, I had to call the technician again. The same technician came, still couldn't fix it, and just gave us an extension cord to plug into the bedside outlet and run to the bathroom 😓. I thought, surely a room this bad isn't a new problem? Don't they inspect rooms before guests check in? The next morning, I spoke to the lobby manager about it. Both the front desk and the manager seemed unaware of my ordeal, meaning there was no handover between the night staff and the day staff. The manager, however, reacted quickly and moved me to a different room. The service rating I'm giving is solely for this manager. While changing rooms did solve the issue for the second night, for the first night, I can only chalk it up to bad luck. The bright lights were on all night, and I got no sleep 🙂. To be honest, I've never given a bad review on any platform; this is my first time. I've stayed in better and worse places, but this is a unique experience. I chose this hotel for a two-day stay in the new city after two days in the old city during the ***** New Year trip to Guangzhou, but changing hotels mid-trip just caused unnecessary hassle.

Huan Kai Hotel (Tiyu Xilu Branch) has an excellent location, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The front desk service was warm, attentive, and responsive. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money. Highly recommended!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. It's incredibly convenient with a great location, very close to the metro station. They offer all-day dining and the service was warm and welcoming. The rooms are in excellent condition, quiet, and even have smart toilets. Plus, the breakfast spread was rich and varied with plenty of choices.

The location is great and easy to find, just a 3-minute walk to the subway station. It can be noisy if the window is open, but it's completely silent once closed. The room isn't huge, but it's very clean, and housekeeping comes daily. We stayed for 4 nights and got complimentary breakfast, which had slight variations each day. There were always some snacks available when entering or leaving the hotel. The laundry room even offers wash, dry, and delivery service to your room! The front desk staff are very polite, and Xiao Fan was excellent! The only downside is that the bathroom is completely transparent. This wasn't an issue for me traveling with a child of the same gender, but it might not be suitable for parents traveling with children of the opposite gender.

The location is great, right next to Zhujiang New Town and TaiKoo Hui, and the metro station is also close by. I'll definitely come again next time. Felix, the front office manager, provided excellent one-on-one service.

One of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in! The room was spacious and bright, clean, and free of any strange odors. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. It's in a prime downtown location, making travel super convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou!
