JI Hotel Hotels in Guangzhou

The room hygiene was absolutely terrible. The first room I was given on the 13th floor looked like it hadn't been occupied in ages; the TV, walls, cabinets, and tables were all covered in a thick layer of dust. The floor was sticky and stained with water marks. Although the bedding and towels appeared to be clean and changed, the overall state of the room made me not want to stay. I requested a room change. After viewing several rooms, I was finally assigned one on the ninth floor, which was somewhat acceptable. However, the air conditioning blew out air filled with a strong smoke smell. When I inquired, I was told this floor was non-smoking, so I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from. Since it was late, I didn't bother asking for another change and checked out first thing the next morning. I definitely won't be staying here again. On the positive side, the staff were very diligent in helping me change rooms and with the subsequent remedies. However, the core issue seems to be with the hotel management's low standards for cleanliness. No matter how good the staff's service attitude is, it can't restore confidence in the hotel.

This hotel is really close to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall area, and super convenient to get to by metro – it's only about 3-4 stops direct, so there's no need to stay in the noisy downtown area! The hotel is a standalone building with easy elevator access, and there's a Starbucks and McDonald's downstairs, making life very convenient. The room wasn't overly spacious, but the overall feel was good. My only minor complaint was that on the 16th floor (the top floor), it sounded like the air conditioning unit hummed quite a bit during the day. I visited during Chinese New Year, so there wasn't much traffic, and I didn't find it noisy despite being on a street.

Booked the Superior Queen room here. Clean, tidy, and fully voice-controlled — lights, curtains, AC, just talk to the room and it listens. Bathroom has proper wet-dry separation, shower pressure was strong, hairdryer actually had power (small thing but you know how much this matters). Front desk staff were the standout though — warm, attentive, went out of their way with little touches. Solid “Quanji” hotel energy overall. Location is the real win. Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is literally across the road — step out and you’re straight into the shopping and food chaos. Self-service laundry on the 19th floor came in clutch for a longer stay too. Only gripes: elevator’s a bit slow (not a dealbreaker), and breakfast leans heavy on Chinese pastries and steamed buns — no bread if that’s your thing.

Facilities: The hotel has excellent facilities, and the rooms are highly intelligent. Cleanliness: The hotel's hygiene is superb, and the rooms are spotless. Environment: The hotel boasts a great environment, right by the Pearl River with fantastic views from the window. Service: The hotel staff are very friendly, highly professional, and communicate with great patience.

It was a very pleasant stay. As someone who appreciates thoughtful and consistent design, I found the hotel delivered beautifully on that front. I had great sleep every night, and the hot water system was excellent — stable, reliable, and never fluctuating. I would definitely return on my next trip to Guangzhou.

I highly recommend the Ji Hotel Guangzhou Sanyuanli Metro Station! The location is excellent, very close to Sanyuanli Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Guangzhou Railway Station. It really takes the stress out of catching your train. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable and airy feel throughout; there were no unpleasant odors, which made for a relaxing stay. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in, and they responded promptly to any requests. Overall, my stay was very satisfying. This will be my top choice for layovers in Guangzhou, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This hotel experience exceeded all my expectations! The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft I had an incredibly comfortable sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant smells. The front desk staff were all incredibly warm and attentive, and check-in was super efficient. A huge bonus was that the lady at the front desk even upgraded our room for free! The location is a major plus, right next to the subway station, making commuting and shopping incredibly convenient.

📍 The location is absolutely perfect! Just on Huangpu Avenue, about 2 kilometers away from Zhujiang New Town, it is convenient to go anywhere, subway buses and taxis save time, and business travelers are ecstatic. 🛏️ Room: The bedding is soft and dry, I really like down pillows, and I sleep very well. The most pleasant surprise is sound insulation! Facing the street but not noisy. 🥣 Breakfast: rich in categories, both Chinese and Western, freshly cooked noodles are extra points, and they are not heavy for three days. 🏋️ Supporting: Laundry rooms and gyms are available, and there is no need to worry about changing and washing for long-term business trips.

Facilities: Fully equipped. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with no hidden dirty spots. Environment: High floor with a great view, and very convenient transportation, close to the East Station. Service: Hard to describe. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and responsible, providing detailed information. However, if I were to say the service was excellent, well, after we checked in, we immediately went out to play. When we locked the door at night, we realized the room didn't have a security chain. The front desk staff's first reaction after checking was that the main lock wasn't broken so we could continue to stay, and then they left without taking any other measures. But if I were to say it was bad, after we requested a repair, the maintenance staff arrived very quickly and replaced it right away, even though it was already very late. And the night shift staff were also very hardworking; the laundry room seemed to be running non-stop, and clothes were even delivered to our room door, which is a lot of effort. Overall, I don't want to give a direct negative review; I can understand everyone's hard work, but the overall experience was affected. It didn't feel as good as the service at other branches. If the staff's workload is too high, then perhaps their salaries should be increased.

Clean and hygienic, the overall environment is good. Even though it's by the road, it's not noisy. The delivery robot brings food directly to your room, which is very convenient. There's free parking downstairs, and you can easily catch a taxi right outside. It's about a 10-minute walk to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
