Excellent service and renovated during covid. The pool is not heated and is cold. There’s a spa there for massages and it’s convenient . It’s across the street from Guangzhou east so it’s super convenient.

As my wife and I celebrated a special occasion during our recent stay at The Westin Guangzhou, we were met with an extraordinary experience that went beyond our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome, setting the stage for an impeccable stay. Our room was spacious, offering contemporary decor and luxurious comfort. The captivating city views added an extra touch of enchantment to our stay. The plush bedding and indulgent amenities ensured that we had a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep. What made our stay truly exceptional was the hotel's personalized service. Upon checking in, I casually mentioned that it was my wife's birthday. Little did we know that the Westin Guangzhou would exceed our expectations by surprising her with a magnificent birthday cake. The staff arranged the cake with utmost care and consideration, reflecting the hotel's commitment to creating memorable experiences for their guests. Every encounter with the hotel staff was nothing short of outstanding. They were attentive, responsive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The Westin Guangzhou's dedication to customer service is truly commendable. During our stay, we also had the opportunity to indulge in the hotel's culinary delights. The restaurant options were diverse, offering an extensive range of delectable dishes. The breakfast buffet was both scrumptious and satisfying, catering to every taste and preference. The Westin Guangzhou's prime location truly adds to its appeal. Situated in the heart of the city, it provides convenient access to numerous tourist attractions, shopping destinations, and vibrant nightlife. Whether we wanted to explore the local culture or unwind in luxury, the hotel's convenient location had us covered. In conclusion, our stay at The Westin Guangzhou was an exceptional experience. Prime locations... Wonderful staffs..... Hotel is very clean, and we booked 2 bedroom 100m2 spacious apartment.... Overlooking the canton tower... Beautiful view in night time... Good food.... Steam and sauna was awesome.... Surrounding have lot of local food and cafes...

The hotel stay was fantastic! One of the best and most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. It was huge and a family of 4 could stay comfortably. Wanted to get a day bed for my daughter but she was comfortable sleeping on the huge sofa. The facilities were complete and staff was great and help was given whenever it was needed. Every time my cab arrived at the hotel there was definitely someone opening the door for us.

Excellent service, location, and amenities. Full view of the hotel pool and the lovely city from my room on the 11th floor. Great breakfast buffet with a wide selection of Western and Chinese food. Just a 1-minute walk from Tiyu Xi Lu metro station. Will definitely come back again!

Hotel room: 0 (zero) star Hotel location: 4 (four) stars Hotel staff services: 5 (five stars) We checked into a room on 1/25/2024 for a 6-night stay. We realized the room smelled smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. The worst was the bathroom's strong, moldy, foul smell, which is a health hazard and unacceptable. On top of it, the in-room HVAC thermostat doesn't work, which we didn't notice until the next morning. We suffered without fresh air circulation and high room temperature all night long. The following day, thanks to the friendly, accommodating front desk staff, we could change to another room with no issues like the previous one. Even the room we changed to also has maintenance issues, such as the ceiling light above the nightstand hanging loose from the ceiling and exploding electrical wires. And the bathroom Faucet is loose, etc., unfortunately. Besides the exceptional overall staff services, the hotel is conveniently located in a local neighborhood, a perfect alternative for tourists who want to experience the truth of Guangzhou. Suppose Baiyun Hotel is positioned as an international five-star hotel. In that case, besides sustaining excellent staff services, improving room maintenance, upgrading the aging hotel, and paying attention to the details is essential. Outstanding staff service or a profound hotel history couldn't substitute necessities such as an operational thermostat or a foul smell in the bathroom. Having said that, I wouldn't consider Baiyun Hotel when we visit Guangzhou next time, nor would I recommend it to others due to my experiences with the hotel room.

A beautiful hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet really nice lots of choices. Had an evening meal, for such a large hotel prices very reasonable . Great service. Will be going back.
