Would recommend this hotel - superb location, lovely staff, great service and very clean environment.
The room we stayed in could do with modernisation - especially the decor and lighting in the bathroom - and the mattress was uncomfortable
The pool area is superb, the breakfast was very good and we will definitely return again - mainly because of the location and the excellent staff!

Stayed 4 nighters at Praia. Staff has been very accommodating and welcoming. Have had breakfast and dinner. Food and service has been very good. Had a relaxing massage with Nicole and it was one of the best I have had. The Hotel is within few minutes walk to Ocean beach that is beautiful.

Excellent boutique hotel within a 3-5 min walk of the beach.Very clean and quiet with an excellent champagne breakfast.Tge pool and the grounds are spotless. Staff are fantastic especially Marco,one of the servers,always running but still very pleasant and accomodating. Also,Riccardo at the front desk,always there for you with a pleasant smile.Highly recommend.

Overall the hotel is good but there are issues. We booked half board with Jet 2 and on check in at the hotel we were told we could not used the Italian restaurant as half board, this is not what jet 2 website on hotel website state, we would not have booked this hotel otherwise. After discussions with jet 2 rep and management we did use Italian 3 times, I think in the future guests will be limited to the a la carte which has very limited menu. The pool area does not have enough sunbeds and parasols to go round plus most parasols are broken, dirty and sunbeds tired. Some people’s towels were left around pool area on the floor for days. There are not enough staff, bar staff have to clear and tidy pool area, it’s not their fault it is managements. The drinks are quite pricey in bar. The mattresses need a topper which I asked for otherwise they are lumpy and have plastic cover. The staff, especially Marco did a great job being so understaffed. There is not much to see in the area so it’s a case of staying in the hotel.

Impeccable service, ALL staff in the hotel is nice and offers a tailor-made service. I’d really want to mention everybody starting from receptionists, waiters, cleaners and the hotel manager, Luisa. I had a room ‘with a view’ - nice indeed! Breakfast is reach and good ingredients. Very close to the beach, a 5 min walking distance (it’s an option of an open beach or another one, which is protected by rocks). A large supermarket is nearby (~10 min by foot). If you need more privacy - ask for a room, which starts from 104, 204, 304 - in that case you won’t hear sounds from the bar area.

A quick fly & flop week, for that purpose it was fine. Check in OK, it was late so nice and quick. Room was fine decor dated all leather and glass so a bit 80's not enough storage so hard to keep room tidy. Bathroom small but fine cheap toiletries, towels & robes fine. Balcony looking over pool was fine a bit small. Pool area quiet and relaxing, beds & umbrellas have seen better days, all grey colour a little dull. Breakfast this was the worst really, cheap products no decent yoghurts, berries, nuts, egg station was OK but when I saw that the egg mixture was in a plastic bottle (for omelettes, gross ) I had fried eggs. Bread & pastries were a bit better. Tea fine. Staff I found slow and they do not seem happy, Marcos was about the best and seemed to work hard so left him a tip. Did not eat in the restuarant or drink in the bar so cannot comment. Gym was good with all you need, room a bit small. All other other areas were clean. The surrounding area is fine near the beach and a good long boardwalk to get your steps in. I would not rate it 4 stars and I would not stay here again.

Dont pay much mind to the recent negative review. We are staying here now and it is lovely. There are no broken umbrellas that we can see here at the pool. They sun loungers are not dirty and are enough for everyone. The area was totally clean and pristine when we came to the pool this morning - dirty towels would not have been ignored I'm sure! Staff at the pool bar were very attentive yesterday when we were served a lovely lunch. Our room is very nice. The bed was comfortable - we asked for a double (and already had a topper), Every little request has been actioned promptly. The spa facilities are free, jacuzzi,sauna, Turkish/ steam room and the gym is well equipped. Overall, the hotel deserving of its 4* rating. Thank you to Louisa who manages everything beautifully.

My wife and I stayed at this brilliant hotel in early July and what a joy. Everything was impeccably clean, the staff could not have been more helpful, the food was excellent, plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas so no early morning towel trips necessary and a great swimming pool. Our only regret, should have stayed for two weeks instead of ten days. Will be going back next year. Trevor and Carolyn
