Anbo Qishe Apartment (Zhuyuanli)

The hotel has two bedrooms and a living room. The mattresses are very soft, and there's a washing machine and a refrigerator. It's very close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Tower. Just across from the tower is Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and beyond that is Dongxi Lane. The owner was very kind and gave us the password in advance, so we could check in right after getting off the high-speed train. The rice noodles downstairs were the best I've had in Guilin, and they were only 5 yuan! The ones near the high-speed train station are expensive and not very good. The only downside is that the family suite is on the 5th floor, and there's no elevator. I went with friends, and after visiting Elephant Trunk Hill, our legs were almost giving out. We had to climb 5 floors to get back – we lost weight, but it was exhausting! If you have elderly people or children with you, I suggest choosing another room type; there are rooms on the second and third floors.

The location is quite convenient, only about a 5-minute walk from Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area, just across one traffic light. The landlord was also very helpful, contacting me early and responding to questions almost instantly. The overall experience was good; the cleanliness was excellent, with a private bathroom and shower slippers, a washing machine, and a spacious area for drying clothes. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also quite complete. I was very satisfied.
