The room is located next to the elephant hill scenic area and the sun moon pagoda area. The panorama room has a great view of the pagoda and lakes but the flaw is that the adjacent room has a mirror 90 degrees to ours, so there's no privacy and we ended up having to draw the curtains which defeats the point of the view. Breakfast is fine, typical local hotel chain breakfast.

We had a wonderful time. Perfect stay in this hotel! Great location! Spacious room! They gave extra gifts for our bday celebration and followed our request for the room. Awesome! Highly recommended!

A mere 50-meter walk to your left brings you straight to the iconic Sun and Moon Pagodas! Staying here, you're truly enveloped by three of Guilin's most famous landmarks. The location is unbeatable; everything is incredibly close. The on-site Yi Coffee View Restaurant boasts dual panoramic views, allowing you to see both the Sun and Moon Pagodas and Elephant Trunk Hill simultaneously. It's a fantastic spot to grab a coffee or a meal and capture some beautiful photos. The hotel's breakfast spread is also excellent, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The rooftop Yi Coffee View Restaurant is incredibly photogenic, perfect for capturing stunning shots. For authentic local delicacies, you'll find numerous options nearby, including Tian Yuan Xiao Cai, Chun Ji Roast Goose, A Yuan Roast Goose, Xin Gui Chu, A Gan Jiu Jia, and Zheng Zong You Zha Wang. I would absolutely return to Guilin just to stay at this hotel again!

We had a scenic room with great view of Sun and Moon pagoda. Spacious room with beautiful decorations. Nice tea making day in the room. Bathroom was a bit small, overall a great stay.

I stumbled upon this hotel when visiting Guilin just before the National Day holiday to avoid the crowds! I specifically booked it for the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas afternoon tea, and it certainly lived up to expectations! It's also very photogenic. The hotel was spotless, and our twin room had very comfortable beds. In the evenings, it's a convenient walk to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and East-West Alley.

Location is great! Both Morning and night view of pagodas in the breeze at top floor restaurant. Free coffee view of elephant hill at the same time. Street singers along roadside, walking distance to pedestrian street.

Absolutely deserves a perfect score! The service was truly outstanding; they proactively helped us with our luggage and even took our child's hand. The environment was truly spectacular! From the terrace, we had direct views of both the Sun and Moon Pagodas and Elephant Trunk Hill. It was ideal for a hot day when we preferred not to go out; we could just snap photos right from our spot, saving us the long walk to the actual attractions, haha! Plus, the decor is incredibly photogenic! Breakfast was quite generous, and the afternoon tea we sampled was also excellent. They also provide a washing machine and a gym, which is incredibly convenient!

Our family's first trip to Guilin, and we stayed at the Venus Royal Hotel (Elephant Trunk Hill & Sun and Moon Pagodas branch), which we found to offer excellent value for money! The hotel boasts a prime downtown location, within walking distance of all major popular landmarks, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The rooms feature balconies that offer picturesque views of the Li River and the city's night skyline. The river-view restaurant on the sixth floor provides an exceptional experience, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast and afternoon tea with stunning views of Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Both the location and the views are impeccable, making it a highly recommended hotel for anyone visiting Guilin!

Our room was spacious, featuring a large balcony that provided stunning views of the Twin Towers without having to leave the room. The room layout was practical, furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, and even a massage chair. The hotel's location is excellent. However, this prime location also meant it could be a bit noisy at night. Breakfast at the hotel was decent, and the restaurant boasted an amazing view of both Elephant Trunk Hill and the Twin Towers – truly perfect for photography. The hotel offered afternoon tea, which could be conveniently delivered to our room. The room itself was also quite clean.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area. However, the Guilin Beer Fish and rice noodles right outside the hotel entrance are a complete rip-off – avoid them at all costs! Instead, I recommend heading to Shijiayuan Food Street. Also, when exiting Gate 1 of the scenic area, whatever you do, DO NOT buy mangosteens! I spent 100 RMB on both the 5 and 8 RMB/jin varieties, and every single one was rock-hard – a total scam! I strongly urge the local tourism bureau to look into this!

The receptionist was incredibly polite and proactively upgraded our room. She even thoughtfully provided some lovely small gifts, including cooling balm, sun sleeves, and cooling patches. The location is truly excellent. The Twin Pagodas are less than a minute's walk to the left of the hotel's main entrance, and Elephant Trunk Hill is just across the street to the right. The restaurant on the sixth floor also boasts a great ambiance, perfect for taking photos. Breakfast was delicious, and the views from there were absolutely stunning.

The location is unbeatable – right near the pedestrian street, so it’s super easy to walk around, explore, shop, and try all the local food. One of the highlights was the view from the 6th-floor café – absolutely stunning! You can see Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas while enjoying a coffee or snack. It’s such a peaceful spot to relax after a day out.

Perfect location to visit the lakes and a walk in Guilin town. Nice view of the pagodas in the lake just from the hotel restaurant on Level 6
