The Staff was okay not too friendly but also not rude or annoyed. We found a cockroach next to the little gym area at the sixth floor as well as several people just smoking inside the hotel even in the elevator. And none of the staff really cared that much about it. We also went to the rooftop with the apparent pool and everything but it was everything but clean up there. It was more of a mosquito paradise, and old furniture. It looked more abandoned than anything. The room itself was okay. Clean enough to live there. In the bathroom they had slippers to use and an anti slip mat that looked kinda dirty already. But the rest was fine. All in all i would say its not good but also not too bad.

For a westerner the breakfast is awful! No variety whatsoever - just bread (but nothing to put on it), boiled eggs, some fruits and milk. Otherwise one must eat Chinese food for breakfast, which we are not fond of. No butter or jam, no yogurt, no fruits other than the (very few) ones available, no cereals, etc. please do not claim you have a western-style breakfast when you clearly haven’t. Apart from that the hotel is good. The rooms are really big and clean, although the corridors smelled tobacco (but it seems to be usual in Chinese hotels…). The location is just Ok. Also, the first photos taken in the rooftop are totally misleading: there is a view to the mountains but no one tells that in between there are plenty of awkward old-fashioned buildings that kind of destroy the beautiful view…

We were very impressed with the lovely decor of this hotel. Helpful staff, nice restaurant next door. Bed is extra firm, and temperature a bit cool but it is spring here. Room as spacious, we looked out onto tree tops. An easy walk to the river.

Some areas of the hotel require a bit of maintenance, specially the rooftop - doesn’t correspond with the pictures.

Great, modern and spacious hotel with good location. Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed is very asian and hard, room has many amenities, fridge, seating furniture and tv, and much storage space. Breakfast is okay selection.

Staff are very nice and welcoming. Rooms refreshed every day with new water and towels. Breakfast is Chinese style food. Beautiful views from the roof. They also have a washing machine we used and clothes dried very quickly in the sun. The staff were always trying to help. We all loved the cold and hot teas. The drinks fridge in the lobby was very useful. Good shower facility. Easy to get around using didi.

Very close to the scenic spot and worth the upgrade cost to get a big window to have a lovely view! The staff was accommodating at all hours of the day and even have snacks and water up front. Check in was easy and the room was well sized. A good restaurant is a few minutes walk away to bring back food for their terrace area. Breakfast was simple but filling for a days adventures. Although we didn’t end up booking a tour, the hotel offered a contact to view the prices for tours. Overall was a very pleasant time with this hotel.

Overall a good experience, the front desk staff gave us free breakfast coupons during check-in. Facilities are a bit old and not exactly well maintained. Good location though!
