The room was nice and the staff were very friendly. The only minor issue was the low water pressure in the shower. The location is excellent, very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the walking street – all within easy walking distance.

I didn't expect my stay to be so good, it completely exceeded my expectations – what a pleasant surprise! As soon as I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me warmly. They specifically recommended I try the Guangxi specialty Luo Han Guo tea, saying it's very good for the throat. For breakfast, they had characteristic oil tea and Guilin rice noodles with a fragrant gravy. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, satisfying everyone in my family, young and old. The view from the 12th-floor observation deck was beautiful; it was just a shame it was raining when I visited, otherwise, it would have been even more stunning. This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and I'll be back again next time.

I chose this hotel for my trip to Guilin, and it exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right outside the window is Guilin Central Square, offering incredible value for money! Spacious Room: I booked a twin room, and it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable, not too soft and not too firm, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a very restful sleep. Stylish Lobby: The moment I entered the lobby, I was drawn to the new Chinese-style screen. The bird and flower patterns were very artistic, and there were also green plants, giving it a very tasteful feel. Abundant Breakfast: The breakfast selection was quite diverse. Not only did they have freshly ground coffee, but also delicate pastries, fruits (the watermelon was very sweet!), and among the hot dishes, the stir-fried Dutch peas with cured meat was particularly appetizing and had a distinct local flavor. Unbeatable View: The most delightful surprise was the view from the window! It directly overlooked Guilin Central Square, and in the distance, I could see the rolling karst peaks. Guilin looks truly beautiful from this vantage point, and any photo taken here looks like a postcard. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and family vacations. The service is warm and attentive, and I will definitely be back!

I booked this hotel in Guilin for my summer vacation, primarily because of its excellent location and affordable price – great value for money! It's very close to Elephant Trunk Hill and East West Street, with plenty of food options nearby, making getting around super convenient. I was initially planning to give it a full five-star rating, but then, around midnight, the air conditioner suddenly started making an extremely loud noise. I called the front desk, and they came up right away to check it out. They immediately identified it as an AC problem, and sure enough, the noise stopped once it was turned off. However, not having AC at night wasn't an option, so they arranged for an empty room next door. While the issue was ultimately resolved, something like this happening in the middle of the night really affected my sleep, especially since I had to catch a train early the next morning. So, even though I still largely recommend this hotel, I have to deduct some points.

The rooftop observation deck offers fantastic views, where you can see Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Downstairs, there's a lakeside walkway, and it's very close to the scenic spots, which is incredibly convenient.

Fantastic! This hotel is right in the city center, making it super convenient for exploring the East-West Alley, Xiaoyao Tower, finding great food, and even catching a movie. A huge bonus is the free access to Elephant Trunk Hill, and the Lijiang River scenic area is also right nearby. The hotel lobby, rooms, and facilities are all beautifully decorated. As soon as we stepped into our room, it felt incredibly clean and quiet. The bedding was comfortable, and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Thumbs up!

The hotel is really close to Rongshan Lake, so after dinner, you can take a nice stroll around – the scenery is beautiful. Plus, there are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. Pros: Great location and well-equipped rooms. Travelling around is very easy. My reservation does not include breakfast. Cons: The hotel offers no scooter rental or exclusive parking for electric scooters. All parking is public space. The area in front of the hotel gate was full of scooters from rental company, so we parked our overnight rental scooter across the road. A woman in plain clothes asked us for money. With no uniform, we doubted if the charge was legitimate, and she gave no receipt. She quarrelled with us, grabbed our scooter to stop us from leaving and chased us into the hotel. She even taunted us, daring us to report her. We had no problem paying the fee, but her behaviour was appalling. The hotel originally refused us access to their parking lot. To stay out of trouble and protect our safety, we eventually paid 1 RMB with the hotel mediating. The staff then let us park in the basement. This incident ruined our impression of the city. I seldom write bad reviews. Although this happened outside the hotel, the hotel staff only dealt with the situation after problems occurred (they not offer scooter parking for hotel guests at first). If you need to rent a scooter for overnight parking, I suggest you stay elsewhere.

Great location, can’t miss it. Nice views from the 11th floor. Very helpful when I tried to figure out how to work the washing machine :-)
