Li River CIAO Hotel( Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill)

The experience at Guilin Lijiang CIAO Hotel was excellent. The art dome in the lobby is very well-designed, and the Qin Infinity Pool directly faces the Li River, offering views of Chuanshan (Pierced Hill) and Tashan (Pagoda Hill). The rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft bedding. You can enjoy a relaxing Spa experience, and the Chunzhuang-Qiao Yan Jiang View Restaurant offers distinctive dishes. Elephant Trunk Hill is within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing. The service is attentive, making it very suitable for couples.

The hotel's design is very impressive, with thoughtful touches everywhere, from the lobby and the intangible cultural heritage art space to the first-floor restaurant and pool, and even the rooftop terrace restaurant. Many angles reminded me of an Italian art exhibition. The breakfast selection is extensive and delicious, and there are plenty of recreational facilities. If you're bringing children, there are many activities like water play and handicraft DIY.

This hotel is incredibly well-designed, especially the infinity pool – it's absolutely stunning and perfect for photos, overlooking the beautiful river. Plus, it's super close to Elephant Trunk Hill; you can even see it from the bridge right outside. The rooms themselves are also very stylish, and the comfort level is top-notch. The staff are incredibly attentive and warm. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the front desk had all sorts of emergency travel essentials readily available!

Blown away by the 14,000-piece glazed ginkgo dome in the lobby – the Italian aesthetic blends perfectly with the local landscape. The river-view breakfast and pool experience were fantastic. With the spa, kids' garden, and intangible cultural heritage workshops, there's plenty to do. It's also very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, making it convenient for sightseeing. The service was attentive, and the overall stay was comfortable. Definitely a great choice when visiting Guilin.

The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the expansive river scenery, with the beautiful Li River landscape fully visible. The room was clean and comfortable, and you can easily walk to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area and Elephant Trunk Hill, making it very convenient for getting around. Staying here and enjoying the river view is incredibly therapeutic, and the overall check-in experience was very pleasant.

The hotel has a great design and is situated right by the Li River, offering a fantastic environment. I checked in quite late, but the front desk staff were very welcoming and processed everything quickly. They even escorted each guest to their room door, which was excellent service, thumbs up! 👍 The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options too. I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's location is very quiet, right across from the Li River, which was lovely. The lobby service was also very nice, and we even got a free room upgrade with a huge bathroom and a bathtub that our child absolutely loved 🛁. After we switched to another hotel on the second night, our little one kept talking about the bathtub! It came with a disposable tub liner and bath bombs, which the kids adored. See you next time!

This is a really high-quality riverside hotel in Guilin with fantastic design; every public area is super photogenic. The rooms are clean, and the river view is absolutely stunning. The bedding is comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Elephant Trunk Hill. The service is excellent, definitely recommended!
