"The owners were honest and welcoming; their enthusiasm wasn't overly overbearing, making the experience quite comfortable. We only exchanged a few words during check-in and check-out. Otherwise, we mostly just nodded and smiled at each other. It was a nice place. However, the word "hotel" felt a bit inappropriate 😂 It's a self-built guesthouse. Fortunately, there's an elevator and the hygiene is acceptable. Its strength lies in its value for money, as we had a 65+ year old mother and a 5-year-old son with us. So, four people sharing a room was perfect. There were two 1.5-meter twin beds. A large restaurant connected to the hotel above enthusiastically solicits guests to eat there, but you can avoid it 😂 It's really not good; the cooking is worse than my family's. I don't know how such a large restaurant can survive; maybe it's all one-off business like ours. Searching on Dianping (a Chinese review platform), "Chen Ji" is indeed a good option nearby. Anyway, all the restaurants have similar menus. For rice noodles, you have to go through a back alley to "Hao Niu Dao" beef bone rice noodle shop, which has a wider selection and is also one of the better-tasting in the area. I suddenly had an epiphany about food: when you're out of town, you can still join the crowds and check reviews. Good restaurants don't necessarily offer delivery, but those that don't offer delivery yet aggressively solicit customers are definitely not good. 🤣"

"Waking up to a mountain view right outside the window was absolutely worth every penny! The location is fantastic too, just a few minutes' walk to the entrance of Tianshi Mansion, so we could pop back for a rest whenever we got tired. The room was spotless, with plenty of hot water and strong air conditioning. The host, a local, was incredibly welcoming and helped us plan a route to avoid crowds, and even recommended some amazing local restaurants, saving us from tourist traps. This guesthouse truly made our trip perfect!"

There are many delicious foods around! "The facilities in the room at this price are so poor, the back of the bed fell out, and the socket was temporarily connected to a socket board. The hot water uses a faucet with a constant temperature of 38°C. The water comes out hot and cold, so we didn't have to take a shower. The wireless is unstable and cannot be used at all. The breakfast was also worse than others of the same quality. When we went to have breakfast during the middle of the day, many dishes were gone and there was no way to replace them. To sum up, the price of this hotel is 387 yuan for a double room in Longhu Mountain. The price is quite high... I will definitely not choose this restaurant next time I go there."

"The hotel is right at the exit of the scenic bus service, right after you get off. I originally wanted to drive to the scenic area parking lot, but the front desk lady said it would be more convenient to just turn left and walk there, which was indeed the case. The room had obvious advantages: bunk beds, a yard with ducklings, and the kids loved it. However, it was the first room on the right after entering the hotel, and it was noisy early in the morning. The cleaning wasn't thorough; the water stains on the sink hadn't been wiped away, and the bedside table was covered in dust. The breakfast powder was quite good. Finally, the scenic area is beautiful and has abundant natural resources, and the bamboo raft ride was quite worth it. However, some of the fees were incredibly rip-off, practically asking for money. Especially avoid the horse riding! The horse rider said the ride was a long 2-3 miles (actually a short 9-minute walk). The other route the kids took took about 6-7 minutes. In such a short time, the guy first tricked me into taking a different route, then tried to collect money from my daughter while I was away! The reason they gave was the cost of running the horses (which is unsafe, especially for such a short distance). They're absolutely heartless for scamming children out of their money! Parents with children, beware of this scam."

Located within the Longhu Mountain scenic area, there's even a small side gate leading directly to the East Gate of Elephant Trunk Hill, making it a top choice for hikers. Service: Absolutely, one hundred and twenty thumbs up! A special shout-out to the two lovely ladies at the front desk on the afternoon of August 13th. Seeing that we had two rooms for our family, they upgraded our rooms and even got us fantastic seats for the 'Xunmeng Longhu Mountain' show boat tickets! I hope to see these two 'little fairies' again on my next visit!"
