7Days Inn Hotels in Guiyang

The hotel is quite nice and the front desk staff are friendly. There are food vendors selling street food at night and many restaurants nearby so It is very convenient to get food. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is quite far to walk from Guiyangbei Station though and you need to go through an underpass with no escalator (railway station side), so not too convenient for people with big luggage (but it is the same issue for all hotels around the area)

The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's at a hub where two subway lines intersect, making transportation incredibly convenient – you can easily get to the high-speed rail station and the airport. It’s right next to the popular Taiping Road and Minsheng Food Street, so delicious food and photo-op spots are just downstairs, no need to travel far. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel's laundry room was also spotless. The staff were enthusiastic, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations!

First off, regarding cleanliness, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job every day, keeping everything spotless. Without me even asking, they provided two bottles of water daily. The housekeepers were also very friendly, always greeting me, which made me feel well looked after and safe, even traveling alone. Secondly, the hotel's location is fantastic. It's just a 50-meter walk from Exit A of West Yan'an Road, making it super convenient whether you're heading to the tourist bus terminal or taking the subway (there's a delicious omelet potato stall near Exit D of the subway in the evenings!). If you need to get to Guiyang East Station, you can catch the 276 bus nearby. Plus, it's very close to popular local eateries like Doumi hotpot and street-side hotpot. However, after 8 PM, street vendors set up outside the hotel, making the walk a bit difficult. A significant drawback is that the hotel is not smoke-free, and the ventilation isn't great, so smoke from other rooms can drift into yours, which was quite annoying. But given the price point, it's likely one of the cheaper chain hotels near the tourist hub. Consequently, the room facilities are pretty basic; for example, some of the caulk in the shower area was peeling, causing water to leak. On the positive side, the TV in the room was good and allowed screen mirroring, and the air conditioning worked fine.

Guiyang is my last destination before I flew back to Singapore. From Libo station, I took the high-speed train to Guiyang train station (not Guiyangbei). The escalator down to the metro station is located just outside the Guiyang Railway Station. So, it is very convenient when you are traveling back from other parts of Guizhou to Guiyang. The reason why I book this hotel is because of her centralized location in Guiyang city and her close proximity to the metro system. The nearest metro station to the hotel is Zhongshan West station. It is a 7-min walk from the metro station to the hotel. On the second day, I also took the metro train to Guiyang coach station for a daytrip to Pingba Cherry Blossom Park (平坝 樱花园) and Qianlingshan Park (黔灵山公园), the day before my departure. It is about 15-min walk to Jiaxiu Tower (甲秀楼) the landmark of Guiyang. It is also a short walk to Minsheng Road Food Street (民生路) and Cao Zhuang Yuan Pedestrian Street (Scholar Street). I also discovered a lot of cheap and good food and hidden gems at the food court cum shopping alley at the under walkway near the hotel. I bought a winter jacket for only RMB 50/-. There are a lot to discover in Guiyang but sadly, I only spent 3 days and 2 nights in this big city. Maybe should stay for 7 Days.

My overall stay was fantastic! The room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bathroom had a spotless wet/dry separation. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing, and it was quiet at night with good soundproofing. The front desk was efficient and friendly during check-in. The hotel's location is convenient for dining and getting around. It offers excellent value for money compared to other places in the same price range, and I highly recommend it for your travels. I just forgot to take pictures!

Overall it's very good, the room is very clean, the next door community has its own parking lot, the facilities are good, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom shower has hot water quickly, there are disposable cups, combs, toothbrushes, toiletries, which feel good, wireless and also work well, the air conditioner is also easy to use, The receptionist has a very good attitude, very friendly, the service is very meticulous, and the aunt who cleans the room is very enthusiastic

The room is very small, the bed is behind the door, the bathroom is behind the door, the door mirror is a hole blocked by toilet paper, there is a night market downstairs, it is very noisy outside at night, it is very noisy in the morning, the quality of toilet paper is average, the elevator is in disrepair for a long time, others are okay, it’s a bit late to the store, I didn’t take pictures indoors, I took pictures outdoors.
