The hotel is grand, truly befitting a well-established five-star. The room is quite spacious, and it's clear it's been recently renovated as the facilities feel pretty new. Breakfast is extensive. It's located right in the city center, a prime location, and within walking distance to Minsheng Road, Jiaxiu Tower, and Dongshan Temple, which is very convenient.

There were no twin rooms available when I booked, so I reserved a panoramic king room. At check-in, I asked if it was possible to switch to a twin room, and Manager Wang at the front desk upgraded us directly! The upgraded twin room overlooked Jiaxiu Tower, offering a fantastic view. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the night scenery, the experience was absolutely perfect. P.S. The red velvet cake in the lobby was also quite good.

Recommended by a friend for my trip to Guiyang, this hotel left a great overall impression. The lobby staff were very accommodating and arranged a satisfactory room based on my needs, even providing complimentary fruit. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The surrounding area is lively and bustling, perfect for shopping and sightseeing.

The economic downturn has hit the Kempinski Guiyang. The breakfast was subpar, just to make up the numbers. The complimentary afternoon tea was pre-made, and there were even small bugs flying around. A terrible experience. I will never stay at a Kempinski again. One-star review!

They upgraded me to an executive room for free, which was on the 50th floor and had an amazing view. The free parking was also very convenient, with both above-ground and underground options. The breakfast was plentiful, and you could even go as late as 10 AM.

Overall, it's pretty good. The hotel has an excellent location with plenty of amenities nearby, so you can walk to all the food and entertainment options. Parking is also quite convenient.

Since it was my birthday when I stayed, the hotel was very thoughtful and sent a cake. The transportation is also very convenient, and it's an easy walk to Jiaxiu Tower. There are many food streets with delicious options nearby. We stayed on an executive floor, the view was great, and the room was clean and spacious. It was pretty good!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jiaxiu Tower, the food street, and Hema Supermarket. Qingyun Market is also only about a 30-minute walk away, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Getting a DiDi taxi takes less than 5 minutes. It's an older hotel, so the decor is a bit classic, but it definitely has that 5-star presence, and the public areas are grand and opulent. I stayed for 5 days in total. The bathroom in the room was very spacious with a separate wet and dry area. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, and they provided plenty of bottled water. The staff at the front desk and at the entrance were highly professional, truly 5-star service. The breakfast buffet, however, was a bit limited in variety, and didn't change much over my 5-day stay.

As expected from a Kempinski hotel, the ambiance and service are top-notch! It was incredibly comfortable. This was my favorite hotel during my 5-day trip in Guizhou! It's also very convenient for getting around; you can walk to many places. Plus, there are plenty of cute shops nearby perfect for exploring!

A decent, older hotel. The facilities are a bit dated, but the service is acceptable. The location is excellent, close to Jiaxiu Tower and Qingyun Market. Nothing else particularly stood out.

I didn't take any room photos. I've been traveling around Guizhou for a long time, visiting many places. I made the same choice when I first arrived in Guiyang and when I left. I think the service and facilities are good (although not brand new, everything works fine). This hotel truly showcased Guiyang's warmth and professionalism. I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit. When I first stayed, I told the hotel manager I hoped to get the same room next time, and this time I actually did. This shows that the hotel staff really value guests' needs. Highly recommended! (One small suggestion: there was an issue with the living room wiring at night, and the lights wouldn't turn on. I hope it gets thoroughly checked, as it can affect the guest experience.)

My initial experience at this hotel wasn't great. For a 5-star hotel, I found it odd that the concierge didn't help guests take their luggage to the room. When we extended our stay and switched rooms, the concierge only helped me with two suitcases, and I had to load all the other bits and pieces onto the luggage cart myself. After I complained, the hotel did respond appropriately by upgrading our room, and the service improved significantly. I hope they provide better training for the concierge team.

I booked this hotel last minute while passing through Guiyang. The location is fantastic, right downstairs from Jiaxiu Tower and Huguosi Road. The night market in the evening is bustling with people, offering plenty of fun and delicious food. No need to book breakfast here, there are so many good eats nearby. The room was renovated in 2024, and it seems they installed a bidet toilet in the bathroom, giving it a fresh look. The bedding is very comfortable, and the lobby is beautiful. The front desk staff, especially Li Bin, were very kind and polite. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would likely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

I always choose this place when I'm in Guiyang. The staff are all very warm and attentive, and the environment and facilities are excellent. Wenchang Pavilion, Jiaxiu Tower, and Minsheng Road are all nearby, so the location is superb. This time, I even got an upgrade to a room with a view, which I really appreciate.
