Guizhou Fengrun Karst Hotel (Jiaxiu Tower Qingyun Market Store) Reviews

After a week in Xinjiang, I moved on to Guiyang and booked this hotel quite spontaneously. To my surprise, it exceeded all expectations! I arrived at 1 AM, and the front desk staff even upgraded me to a suite. The room was massive, and most importantly, it was incredibly clean; I could even smell a faint hint of disinfectant when I walked in. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with freshly made glutinous rice balls. This has honestly been the most satisfying hotel stay of my entire trip!

This hotel is perfectly located! Qingyun Market is right behind it, and the National Culture Museum is directly across the street. Being situated within the Guiyang TV Station complex, it offers great views and a central location. The breakfast spread includes a good variety of local specialties. But what truly stands out is the service – every staff member provides seven-star, butler-style service. Excellent value for money!

This was a great stay! The hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance to Qingyun Market, Jiaxiu Tower, and the National Museum. The environment is pleasant, the room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were complete. The service was excellent, especially the front desk staff. Thumbs up! 👍

Location: The location is excellent. It used to be a self-operated hotel by Guizhou Radio and TV, a well-established four-star property. It's directly opposite the Nationalities Museum, at the entrance to Qingyun Market Street, and right next to the Nanming River. Plus, it's set in its own independent courtyard, making it very quiet! Compared to the Mid-Levels Hotel recommended by Ctrip, which is right by the road, I imagine that one would be quite noisy. Glad they didn't have any rooms. Facilities: The rooms have been fully renovated in the last two years. The suites have two separate rooms and two bathrooms. The rooms are spacious, and the hallways are carpeted. Great value for money! Service: Very good! I'd stay here again next time!

Highly recommended! The front desk staff was incredibly warm and friendly. They even upgraded our room upon check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the city center, within walking distance of Qingyun Market and Jiaxiu Tower. Everything from dining to entertainment is convenient. Despite being in a bustling area, it's surprisingly quiet. Transportation is a breeze with easy access to the subway, buses, or taxis. The breakfast spread was extensive with a great variety of dishes, and the glutinous rice was especially delicious!

The service was warm and attentive, and the location is very convenient. It's close to the subway station, and Qingyun Market is right nearby. You can even walk to Jiaxiu Tower. Transportation is excellent, breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the surrounding area is quiet, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in the heart of the city.

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic. It's only about 7 metro stops from Guiyang North Station, and then you just cross an underpass to get there. Secondly, Qingyun Market is right around the corner downstairs, and it's super close to Minsheng Road and Yuantong Street, about a ten-minute walk. Jiaxiu Tower is also nearby, just a ten-minute stroll along the river. The room's cleanliness is great, and the beds in the standard twin room are really soft. You can easily walk to all sorts of places from here, and the food in Guiyang is consistently delicious and affordable. 😋

Both the room and the service were exceptional. It was very clean with no strange odors, and the cups were all sealed, which was very reassuring. For breakfast, in addition to the standard hotel fare, they also offered rice noodles and sticky rice, which tasted pretty good.

A hidden gem in the bustling city, this hotel offers incredible value for money! The rooms are no-frills but impeccably clean, which is a huge plus for an older establishment. Everything feels comfortable and well-maintained; even the vintage light switches are convenient and easy to use. The hotel has a parking lot and a large courtyard, so despite being close to the main road, it's surprisingly quiet. The highlight, however, is the exceptionally warm and genuine staff. I went up to do laundry, and the attendant on the 9th floor was incredibly helpful, making me feel truly welcome. The front desk staff were also patient and thorough during check-in, even offering to add me on WeChat to share local tips and answer all my questions. The location is perfect, making it easy to get anywhere. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied.

This was the hotel we stayed at on our last night before leaving Guiyang, and I regret not booking it sooner. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the breakfast spread was very rich. They're also especially accommodating for families traveling with babies, so you can definitely stay here with peace of mind.

I chose the Guizhou Fengrun Karst Hotel this time when visiting my aunt in Guiyang because it's close to the hospital where she lives. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a six or seven-minute walk from the Hexin Park subway station, making it very convenient to get there from Guiyang North Station. Turning right out of the hotel brings you directly to Qingyun Pedestrian Street, where we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, and entertainment, especially the lively night market in the evenings. Our room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, and it was tidied diligently every day during our four-day stay. The staff were all very friendly, and we particularly appreciated the complimentary lemon tea – it was so good that we'd grab a bottle every day before heading out. Overall, it was a great stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Guiyang. Highly recommended!

This hotel is conveniently located right next to a night market street, making it super easy to grab food in the evenings. The Provincial Museum is just across the street, which is perfect if you're interested in learning about the history of ethnic development. In the lobby on the first floor, they have complimentary homemade lemonade, which tastes really good. Qianling Mountain Park is also a great place to explore, and they even have giant pandas!

We booked a family suite, and the room was very spacious with two 2.2m beds. The soundproofing was excellent, so we slept very comfortably. It feels like it used to be a government-run hotel that has been redecorated; it's very clean, and the service is great, with all the staff being very enthusiastic. The front desk offers complimentary homemade lemonade, and there's a late-night snack service. The sticky rice at breakfast was particularly delicious. The hotel is very close to Qingyun Market, less than a ten-minute walk away, and also conveniently located near Qianling Mountain Park, Jiaxiu Tower, and Minsheng Road, all within walking distance.
