The best hotel in Guiyang, bar none. It's conveniently located, offers free parking, and the rooms are huge and spotless. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and they even provide a 24-hour 'ox and horse' (all-hands-on-deck) service – a playful way of saying they're always ready to help!

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the subway exit, making getting around very convenient. The room was also quiet. A perk of traveling during the off-season is that we could check in easily even in the morning, without having to wait for the room to be cleaned after checkout. They have 8 elevators, and the room was stocked with plenty of bottled water, which was a big plus! The hotel's sticky rice was delicious too! 😋

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel is right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's also very close to the airport and Qianling Park. Other attractions aren't far either. It was a good place to stay for one night since I was leaving the next day.

Facilities: Excellent, seems newly renovated. Hygiene: Standards were good, and attention to detail was impressive. Environment: The surrounding area is nice, close to the city center. Service: The staff were pleasant and patient, and problems were resolved promptly.

Completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway station, and taxis are also easy to find. The room was spacious, the facilities were new, and being on a high floor offered a great view. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional; both the front desk and concierge were excellent. The roselle juice and black tea in the lobby are local specialties of Guizhou. Highly recommend it!

I chose this provincial-government-selected hotel for my New Year's trip to Guizhou, going against the typical season, and it definitely didn't disappoint! As a showcase for the provincial capital, the hotel has been recently renovated, with brand-new facilities, a grand ambiance, and exquisite touches everywhere. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making my entire stay very comfortable. The breakfast was the most impressive part; I didn't get tired of it even after three consecutive days. The variety was rich, and the flavors were authentic. Waking up to such a lavish breakfast every morning felt incredibly blissful. **Parking:** Parking is available downstairs with an attendant managing it, keeping things orderly. We left from here every day. **Surroundings:** In the mornings, you can head straight to Qianling Mountain for a run or to see the monkeys, it's very close by. **Pool and Gym:** The facilities are good, but the opening and closing times are quite inconvenient. Both domestic and international guests nowadays love to work out, so how are people supposed to have their morning exercise when it opens at 10 AM? How are the leaders supposed to sober up, haha? Especially on sunless days like in Guiyang, I strongly recommend opening earlier. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guiyang – it offers incredible value for money!

The hotel room was spacious and well-equipped. The bathtub facing the floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view. The washroom area had a separate door for privacy, which was a huge plus! The biggest surprise was the 24-hour room service; the sticky rice and wontons were delicious.

The room was great, and the service was excellent. The lady at the front desk even upgraded me to a suite. I came to Guiyang specifically to watch a movie at the Boundary Cinema. It was very comfortable staying there by myself. The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely come back next time.

A standard five-star hotel with great facilities. It's super convenient as the subway station is right downstairs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

This hotel has a very 'state-run' feel to it. Aside from the slightly newer facilities, everything else is comparable to an ancient guesthouse. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a quiet room, but my window looked out onto a busy road with constant traffic noise. The soundproofing was also terrible. I could hear the Sichuanese people next door chatting late into the night, even at 1 or 2 AM. I got bitten by bugs on the first night. I've attached photos; they were just taken, and I'm still itching. On the second morning, while I was still asleep, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door, saying they needed to inspect the room. The front desk called and said they had received my room card, which is just ridiculous because both cards were in my hand. Where did they get the other one? It raises serious security concerns. For this price and service, it's really poor value for money in Guizhou. If it weren't for the hassle of the elevators at the Sofitel, I would much rather have stayed there.

The room is very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, clean and hygienic.

The Grand Hotel Beijing was much newer than I expected; it didn't have that dated feel you sometimes get with older five-star hotels. The service was also good. The only drawback is that it doesn't have its own spa, so if you want a massage, you'll need to find one outside.

Excellent value for money! Facilities: The public areas are very spacious, and the rooms are large. Cleanliness: Pretty good, no dust. Breakfast: Very nice, with local specialties. Ambiance: It has a somewhat old-fashioned, 'earthy' feel typical of older five-star hotels, but it integrates well with the local Guizhou culture. Service: Very good.

Guizhou Hotel truly lives up to its reputation! The facilities, service, cleanliness, and ambiance of the VIP building were all incredibly comfortable and pleasant. We brought our whole family, including seniors and young children, for a short trip to Guiyang, and felt delighted from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff kindly upgraded our rooms, making it easy for us to have two adjoining rooms to look after the elderly and children. They even offered complimentary breakfast for our child who was under 1.3m tall, which was a huge plus. I regret not getting his name to give him a proper shout-out! Throughout our stay, all the service staff were warm and enthusiastic, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, making everyone, young and old, happy. This enjoyable trip truly reflected Guizhou's wonderful attitude towards developing its tourism economy around its tourism resources. We look forward to visiting other scenic spots in Guizhou again in the future!
