Hotels in Yunyan District, Guiyang

During the holidays, hotel prices in Guiyang were outrageously high. I ended up choosing one that had a more reasonable price increase – over 400 yuan a night in the summer was quite a good deal. The hotel's location is excellent, as you can see from the restaurant photo (picture 1): it's right at the exit of Zilin'an Station via a direct elevator. The hotel entrance itself looks very grand, and the service was very attentive. Despite being street-facing, it wasn't noisy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There's a shopping mall with a Hema supermarket within walking distance. You absolutely *must* try the 9-yuan ice dessert outside the mall; I tried three different places, and this one was the best. I'll definitely stay here again.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! I'd read reviews praising the service, but I was still surprised by the level of detail. For instance, the elevator corridors had various tissues available, the smart toilet had many functions, the mini-fridge offered complimentary drinks with a Guizhou specialty, and even the disposable shower cap was thicker than those at other hotels. It's one of the few hotels where I actually considered taking the disposable amenities home with me. Breakfast was extensive, with over twenty different beverages alone. In the evening, we ate at the Chinese restaurant. It was the first time I'd seen a hotel restaurant completely full, and the food was delicious. A couple of minor points for improvement: first, I was traveling with an 8-year-old, and while the hotel clearly had kids' disposable toiletries, the front desk didn't offer them proactively. Second, there were no USB charging ports in the room. These are minor issues, and it doesn't detract from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

The king-sized room is incredibly spacious, with well-divided areas. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry zone, an independent washbasin counter, and a dedicated work/lounge area. The entire room features smart controls. The surroundings are very quiet; I could even sleep with the window open without being disturbed. Being on a high floor, the view is excellent, and you can see the fountain landmark directly from the window. The location is absolutely perfect; the subway station is right downstairs, and it's next to the central business district, making it extremely convenient to get anywhere. The front desk staff were very responsive and helpful with all my requests. This is an art hotel, and the entire room has an artistic design, including a wave-patterned artistic ceiling and numerous light strips, creating a fantastic ambiance. The only minor drawback might be the semi-transparent bathroom door, which could be a bit inconvenient for families staying with children.

The price is quite affordable, the room is nice, and it's clean and well-maintained. The facilities are also pretty good, making for a reassuring stay. It's definitely more budget-friendly than other places, so that's great.

1. The location is excellent, right next to the subway exit. I'd suggest the owner add a sign with the hotel name, an arrow, and the floor number at the ground floor entrance to make it easier for guests to find. 2. The room was great! Though I nearly fell down the stairs the first time I used them 🥲. Maybe the owner could install a handrail. 3. The bathroom was very clean and came with shower gel and shampoo. There were also disposable towels and bath towels in the room's cabinet, which was a thoughtful touch. 4. And there's a 'Cultivation Zone' (Xiu Xian Qu) – haha, the owner is so good at naming things! The top-floor glass room offers a great view of Guiyang's city nightscape. Overall, my stay was really enjoyable. The price was very reasonable, the location was superb, and the owner is handsome too 🤣 haha! If I come to Guiyang again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were warm and professional, and the check-in process was very quick. The room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was really comfortable, offering just the right amount of support – perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day. The hairdryer was excellent, with a stable airflow that didn't make my hair frizzy. Overall, the facilities were well-thought-out, and it offered good value for money. I absolutely have to rave about this hotel! ✨ They offer complimentary fruit upon arrival, laundry service, and free coffee and juice. The room was clean and tidy, the linens were soft and gentle on the skin, and the slippers were thick and comfortable. The whole room was controlled by Xiaodu smart assistant, so the hardware experience already exceeded my expectations. But what truly deserves the most praise are the front desk staff, both the young men and women – they were all so warm and attentive. On our first night, we arrived between 9-10 PM. A staff member who had already finished his shift learned we hadn't eaten yet. Not only did he recommend authentic bamboo skewer BBQ, but he waited for us, personally led us there, and even gave us a detailed introduction to other nearby eateries. On our second day, we returned to the hotel around 1 AM. We had to check out by 10 AM to head back to Beijing and urgently needed to do laundry. The staff member on duty helped us expedite the process, and we received our clean clothes by a little after 8 AM. When checking out, we inquired about breakfast. The two young women not only recommended places and sent us locations, but they also packed up fruit for us, asking proactively which ones we liked so they could add more. Overall, the service felt flexible and not rigid, genuinely friendly without any distance. It's those kind of people who make you fall in love with a city during your travels! 👍
