Orange Hotel Hotels in Guiyang

Booked the Orange Hotel last minute for my trip and it totally exceeded my expectations! The location is great, easy to find, and really close to the shopping areas and attractions. The room had excellent natural light and no strange smells. The citrus-scented toiletries were a nice touch, and it had everything you need: screen mirroring, a mini-fridge – you name it. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the robot delivery for room service was super fun! Both the cleanliness and service were top-notch. Definitely my first choice for accommodation when traveling!

The front desk offered to upgrade my room, but the cleanliness of the upgraded room was appalling; it's hard to believe this is a newly opened hotel. There was a clump of hair so obviously left on the shower wall! When I asked to change rooms myself, there was no compensation whatsoever, not even a proper apology or greeting. Because it was a room change on the same floor, the front desk just called a robot to deliver the room key and told me to carry my own luggage to the new room… The service was incredibly poor. I don't know if all rooms at Orange Hotel are like this, but the design also seems flawed; the water didn't drain properly overnight after I showered, leaving waterlogged shower stalls. Wow, this is the first time I've felt Huazhu could be this bad. Run away from Orange Hotel; I'd rather stay at Hanting Hotel.

The room was very clean, and the housekeeping was prompt. The service was upscale, and the staff were very friendly. They even provided a fruit platter. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit. I was very satisfied, and they also offered free breakfast.

The location is quite far from the city center; it takes about an hour by subway to reach several major attractions in Guiyang. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Although it's near Quanhu Park, most shops in the area were closed during the Spring Festival, making shopping and dining inconvenient. The cleanliness is acceptable, the showerhead has good water flow, but the water temperature is inconsistent. The elevator is small and there's only one elevator. The washer-dryer combo is of decent quality and quite convenient. Breakfast is average, offering both Chinese and Western options, but the portions are limited; after one or two guests have eaten, the food in the insulated container is almost empty. There are few tables, so during the last two days when there were many guests, there was a wait for a table. Overall, it's acceptable.

The laundry room at Orange Hotel is the best, with professional and clean washing and drying facilities. The room type is basically consistent with the pictures advertised, and it's very quiet. Plus, the hotel itself has an excellent location, very close to the subway station and a suitable distance from Guiyang North Station and several important attractions. My only minor complaints are that the front desk staff was a bit unpracticed during check-in, leading to a long wait, and that my room wasn't cleaned promptly when I returned in the afternoon. Otherwise, everything else was great. It's one of the best hotels I stayed at during my entire trip and is highly recommended.

The room decoration is OK, that is, the glass roll curtain of the toilet is replaced with an adjustable fog surface, refer to the Vienna Hotel. The best experience of this hotel is the service. First of all, the front desk. Every time I go to this hotel, I am very disheveled, but their service is still comfortable. Secondly, the newly added ai delivery may also be that I found this function. I don’t have to call the front desk. Very friendly to people who are afraid of society, and the service attitude of the people who clean the room is also very friendly. Secondly, the breakfast is integrated into the local special beef/spicy chicken powder. The breakfast of oranges in the same price hotel is relatively rich. I see that the yogurt is a local special brand. The service of Huazhu Club is the best attitude in all the hotels I have ever stayed in, but this makes me think of Haidilao's service is very good. But they did not get the reward they deserved. I hope Huazhu will be better to the staff, otherwise I will be very distressed to see their warm service.
