This is a review of the accommodation, not the restaurant. The location is tremendous. There are 5 adjoining rooms, all seaward facing, perched at the edge of the cliff, about 50 foot above a stunning beach, with far ranging views in both directions. There is a private area in front of each room with two sun loungers and two wicker chairs plus a small table. However, the accommodation is tired and in need of refurbishment. The wicker chairs on all 5 bungalows were broken and unusable, and the planters and plants around each were dead and untidy offering little to no privacy. Inside the curtains were dirty and there were many holes and tears in the fabric. There was a constant leak from the toilet cistern into the bowl which meant that the cistern repeatedly refilled throughout the night. We felt that the owners were trading on the location and reputation of the restaurant to charge a high price for the accommodation, although sadly this was not justified by the quality of accommodation provided. In a word: disappointing.

Portu Maga is a bit of an oddity, with half the holiday homes standing empty but the newer half busy and bustling, a very handy store, a pizzeria and a bar. And right on the beach there's the Corsaro Nero, five stone-built rooms with a terrace overlooking the sandy shore, a minute's walk from the water. Simple but comfortable, maybe a little pricy in high season but it's the location you're paying for. The big restaurant, with sweeping views out to sea, serves good food at sensible prices and is full most of the afternoon and evening, easy-going and friendly.

wir befanden uns auf einem westküsten-trip auf dieser wunderschönen insel und haben 7 nächste halt im corsaro nero gemacht. was soll man dazu sagen: laage: perfekt. an der costa verde findet man auch noch strände die nicht von tausenden touristen überflutet sind! wilde landschaft, schotter- und sand-straßen, abenteuer und natur pur! hotel mit nur 6 zimmern: ein traum das meer, der strand und die strandbar: TOP restaurant: für liebhaben von fisch und meeresfrüchten: UNGLAUBLICH!!! fleisch haben wir nicht gekostet! zimmer: total geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. klima und kühlschrank vorhanden, inkl. eigener liegen auf der traumhaften terrasse. personal: von der reinigungskraft über das restaurant bis hin zum chef: herzlich, aufmerksam, freundlich und echt nett! wir hatten mehr oder weniger unsere "persönliche" kellnerin zugeteilt, da sie relativ gut englisch sprach! der chef ist der knaller: kein wort englisch aber kam jeden tag an unseren tisch und erkundigte sich auf italienisch, ob den eh alles ok sei :) die 2 chef´s der beachbar: einfach nur FUNNY typen!!! absolut zu empfehlen wenn man sardinien auf die ruhige und wilde art kennen lernen will! wir können das hotel nur empfehlen! greet´s aus österreich

CONSIGLIATO! Se vi piace la quiete siete nel posto giusto! Poche camere pulite, comode e curate proprio sulla spiaggia. Ristorante con buoni piatti, tutto fresco e ben preparato. Personale molto gentile. La spiaggia è molto bella ma ci sono un bel po' di alghe. Nei paraggi non c'è anima viva...se piace la solitudine è il posto perfetto.

Sono stata con un'amica una notte al corsaro nero in occasione del cammino delle 100 torri,ottima cena con vista spettacolare sul mare,unica pecca,troppe mosche e i vetri sporchi della sala da pranzo, la colazione è stata eccellente, essendo intollerante al lattosio mi hanno portato yogurt di soia e brioche vegane,comunque era ben fornita,lo consiglio vivamente
