Dominion House

Beautiful place and a nice room. Sylvia (cook/cafe) was awesome in the morning with quests. Food was very nicely presented and a lot of variety in the morning. Our particular room was a little cool. There were not a lot of staff around during our stay - but the front desk person was available. We would come again.

Our two night stay at Dominion House could not have been any better ~ it was perfect! From the very beginning with our reservation taken by Bobbie, to the outstanding breakfast prepared by Sylvia. to David giving us a tour and the other nice young ladies at the reception desk, you could not ask for more. Our room was very clean and beautiful ~ more than happy with our accommodations. Dominion House has a wonderful history and beautiful grounds. It is easy to picture a wedding venue at the elegant dominion House. Guthrie was one of our favorite cities on our 18 day, 12 state, road trip! Thank you to all of your staff for making possible such a memorable visit.

I’d rate this phenomenal place to stay a six ! It took a genius to renovate a former Masonic Children’s Home to a superb place of lodging and leisure ! If you and/or your group are wanting something for everyone , this is it ! It has history , building eloquence , spacious rooms , caring staff ; all at super affordable prices ! Plenty of spaces indoor and outdoor for groups of any size ! We loved it , you will too !

Absolutely wonderful! First, very reasonably priced, especially for what you get. Second, the grounds and the hotel have been so meticulously restored and improved. We stayed in the room above the grand staircase and felt like royalty! The ballroom was magnificent. We were not aware of the outdoor water garden and wandered into this amazing space with a waterfall, pond and flowers.Lastly, I also loved the history of the building as a former children’s home run by the Masons. We were traveling and from Massachusetts, but I am still recommending this place as a really special wedding venue. What a pleasant and hidden gem!

So, when you first drive up to the hotel, it looks like you're pulling up to an old Victorian mansion. As a side note, i wouldn't be surprised if this hotel was featured on one of those shows like Ghost Facers or whatever they are... but we didn't get any creepy vibes during our stay. What we did get a was a gas fireplace in our room, an elegant clawfoot tub in the bathroom, and a glass walk in shower. We got thoughtful touches throughout. There was a nice rug, couch, cool old desk, and a ton of little touches. There were robes in the closet and the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. He wasn't in a suit... he was wearing shorts and a Tshirt, but he walked us to the room, explained the facilities, and he was the same gentleman that made me eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Overall... I'd stay here again at twice the cost. I'd tell me friends and family to stay here. I'd bring my girlfriend here to impress her... I actually did, and she was. She loved the tub. Again... I can't recommend enough!!

Better room than at 5 star resorts. Furnishings were beautiful. We had a grand king room with super large bathroom. Bathroom had amazing claw tub and walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Three large chandeliers in our bedroom. Bedroom was large beautifully furnished.
